Society: The Basics PLUS NEW MySocLab with Pearson eText -- Access Card Package (13th Edition) (Macionis Sociology & Society Series)

It's a great book. The thing is, I didn't open it once for this course. Much of the information covered in the beginning Sociology course is common sense or googlable. So, before you buy this, make sure that your teacher absolutely requires it. Otherwise you are wasting your money that could otherwise go toward your tuition.

Ordered this textbook for class and it came very quickly. Was still factory wrapped, but it has a huge cut through it where a utility knife had sliced through the back cover and about 10 pages. Was a great deal for the price though, considering it was about $150 cheaper than all the other places I had looked!

I can’t remember what the condition was listed as, but the book was much more beat up than I expected. It was still readable, and cheap considering that it’s a textbook. I would’ve been upset if this was a book I wanted for my personal library. Since it was just for class, 4 stars
