Not sure for how long, but they work. They replaced the old cmos in some ancient NUCs and are doing well, so far. They definitely work.

Worked for what I needed. Replaced CMOS battery

After if did my first NUC I got drafted into fixing a number of them. This is a pack of 10 NUC specific CMOS batteries that just as promised tested over 3.35 volts. All the connectors were correct with reverse polarity and fit perfectly. If you’re getting a lot of crazy messages from your NUC it’s probably the CMOS battery. There’s no way to check the battery charge other than to open the machine up and get your meter out. The good news is that if you can figure out how to get to the CMOS battery in a NUC6CAYH (there's a great you tube that will walk you through this painful process)these batteries work great. You have to be careful because on a NUC the polarity on the CMOS battery connector is reversed so make sure you order the correct version. The batteries got here quickly and were charged over 3.35 volts so they should last for another 5 years. Great deal that got my NUC up and running again after I finally figured out how to get to the battery.

The connector on this did not actually fit the Alienware PC I was trying to hook it up to so I had to remove the old connector from the old battery and attach it to the new battery which was a bit of a hassle. Otherwise, the battery has lasted ever since I bought it and once the new connector was attached it was easy to install.

I had a 3 year old laptop that wouldn't boot. When I pushed the power button, it would flash momentarily, but then it would go dark. It's unfortunate that there wouldn't be some sort of warning or message when such a catastrophic problem occurs to indicate what the problem is. But there wasn't... as far as I could tell. In any event, I knew (hoped) that it was the $1 3v button battery. That it had died and the laptop was pretty much DEAD without it. Installing was super easy. There were a couple of screws holding the bottom of the laptop on. I removed them, and the batter was exposed... and easy to remove. the new battery fit perfectly. I put it all back together, pressed the power button... and bingo, the laptop came back to life.

The polarity pins are reversed for the intel NUC so I had to remove the pins from the connector and swap them around. At first the PC refused to start up and it took me quite a while to figure out what was going on. Very annoying.

Worked without issue on an old Lenovo laptop. Friendly reminder to those concerned about polarity: the connector pins can be released with a small blade or tweezers and swapped.
