Powerful, light and easy to use, this is a great leaf blower. However, you'll need to make sure you have plenty of spare batteries. I already had a genuine Dewalt 5.0Ah battery, but needed a couple more for clearing our drive. In view of the outrageous price of genuine Dewalt batteries, I bought a couple of compatible 5.0Ah batteries based on the reviews.A fully charged battery lasts about 15 to 20 minutes on this machine. The Dewalt may last slightly longer, but there's not much in it and each one takes about an hour to recharge, so 3 batteries was about the minimum I could get away with for continuous use.I also tried using a 2Ah battery, but they only last minutes!

I bought this to clean up an debris or leaves that fall throughout the year, and general cleanup of the garden from grass, etc.I am very pleased with this purchase, bought for £130 at the time of this review. I used my 5ah battery from my DeWalt drill, and I managed to clean up my average sized garden with it and still had 1bar of battery left. From reviews I've readx you get about 20minutes of full power use on a 5ah battery.It's very powerful, managed to move anything I needed it to, and the trigger is very easy to adjust to desired power, there is also a lock trigger so you can lock in the power you want if you don't want to keep holding the trigger down.Easy to assemble, comes in two parts, the main unit and then the long tube. The tube just slots into the main until and locks into place via a little catch at the bottom. You can take the tube back out by putting a flat headed screwdriver into the latch and pushinf up and pulling the tube.It's a little noisy, but this is my first leaf-blower so don't have any to compare to, although I'm told petrol powered ones are much louder.Overall, good quality product and happy purchase, would recommend.

Clean lines and easy to use. Like to be able to use battery from other 18v Dewalt tools. Not for professional use but fine for small gardens / driveways. A 5amp battery would be nice as 2amp battery lasts only 5min.

Hi my blower was working perfectly fine until last week and it’s completely stopped.such a good blower and I’m gutted.is there anything at all you can do for?Thanks

I’m using it for site work. Not to clean, but to keep dust away when drilling and cutting walls. Also used to keep debris away from workplace. It’s powerful enough. Probably would benefit with different nozzles.
