Seems good; haven’t needed it for real yet; some risks
I haven’t upgraded to Plus, which gives you additional features.Make sure you understand that the item itself has no electronics and none of your medical data. Instead, emergency responders would need to scan your unique QR code (or use the URL, your unique ID info, or the Getmyid phone number). They then get your profile online. My EMT cousin assures me he’d find it. He says he’d prefer the phone number over the QR code so he can put the phone on speaker and keep both hands free. The company apparently doesn’t offer 24x7 phone coverage, so responders would have to use the QR code some of the time.It fits my Fitbit Charge 2 wristband snugly. It doesn’t slide around. This was my main reason for buying it, so I didn’t have to wear a medical bracelet in addition to my Fitbit. The setup was pretty easy. You can include as much info or as little as you want, well beyond what a normal medical bracelet would show. You can modify it at your convenience. I haven’t tried uploading documents, but I believe that’s only for paid Plus subscribers. You can set up two-factor authentication. This is an important feature for protecting the kind of private data you’d store in your profile.I haven’t worn it long enough to have any wear and tear, but it seems sturdy.Although it has several advantages over a simple medical bracelet, there are some risks to consider. You might consider these risks acceptable, but at least you’ll be making an informed decision.Risks:Anyone who gains possession of your MyID sleeve can look up your info, just like an emergency responder.Any private info you store in your profile is on the company’s website. In security terms, they’re holding both PII (personally identifiable information) and PHI (protected health information). The website's privacy statement gives a general description of their security practices. There’s also an availability risk. Will the emergency responder have Internet access at the critical moment? Will the website be up and responsive? Does the company have resilient uptime mechanisms in place? There’s also the risk that the company will go out of business, or stop providing this service. You might live with your condition for another 20 years, for example, but will the company still be around then? Will you find out about it if they go under?I’m crossing my fingers on these risks.

she’s fabulous!
if you’re like me and have medical issues, wearing that bracelet gets to be really annoying and very much obvious to where people are like 👀. This is so easy to use and is so much more appealing!!! Definitely worth the money! My only issue was that when you enter your information that it’s just on the internet attached to your name. so if my name was googled, my medical stuff would pop up under the MyID site.

LOVE THIS
I am loving this for my son. I have tried multiple bracelets, necklaces and he just forgets to wear them. He always has his watch on so I am comfortable that if ever needed it will be helpful. The app opens up on any device used for scanning and BAM......there is his history. It lets me enter as little or as much information as I want. It has an alert that will text me every time it is scanned. It also lets you create a lock screen saver for his phone so it can be scanned also. GREAT DEVISE AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE WITH MEDICAL NEEDS.

Horrible purchase
The mobile app is a joke. Anyone can access your medical information. I read if you sign up for the monthly subscription for 4.99/month you can put more information down and be notified every time your account is accessed by someone. However, myself and others access it several times without ever receiving one alert. Your medical and contact information should never be so easily accessible to just anyone. Furthermore, this did not fit on my Apple Watch as advertised. Not impressed with the customer service either.

Easy solution to a potentially life-saving need
I recently underwent surgery and it was discovered that I am a 'difficult intubation patient'. My Dr. gave me a document with special instructions for future intubations, and told me to carry it with me at all times. I also suffer from a medical condition that can be exacerbated by certain medications. He recommended a get a medical bracelet, saying if I was in an accident, it could save my life. After looking at all the options, this was by far the best! No way am I going to carry pages of medical documentation on me at all times, but this MyID option provides quick easy access to ALL my important medical info. Fits my watch band perfectly and was easy to set up. I (and my family) now have peace of mind!
