These colours are good value for the money, because mica powder can be very expensive especially colour shifting. I was expecting the colours to be a little more vibrant, and a little better shift but for what they cost the colours are quite beautiful. I haven’t tried them all, to be fair, so I will update my review when I’ve given all the colours a try.

The powder works just like its supposed to. Mixes well, and there’s plenty there to mix up several batches of your favorite colors (it seems like a little when looking at the weight/package size, but just a dash of powder will color a large batch of epoxy resin. Packaging is a little inconvenient though. It’s a large flimsy box with all the tiny powder packages. So they are loose inside the package.

The bags of powder look muddy & unappealing, but once you brush it onto a silicone mold & pour in black resin, the resulting colors are unrecognizable. You can also create a beautiful luminous effect by adding a clear resin layer on top.My 2 favorite shades are the green-blue-purple (large key) & purple-blue-red, but I don't like the other 3 colors as much.

If you're new to mica, please know it can be a bit messy. It's light, very sheer, adds a nice sparkle to products. I used it for my body custards and it doesn't stain skin or clothing. I had to use more than expected to get the desired color but still nice

Update: I’ve used all the colors so far and I only have two issues. The pigments do not maintain their glow more than a few seconds. The second issue is the light that comes with it. The light is cheap quality and it there’s not a switch so you have to plug it in and unplug it every time. You definitely don’t want to leave it unattended because it heats up the cheap plastic casing. The adapter cable is a C usb to a regular size usb and is only a couple of feet long. Finally, it doesn’t come with the power adapter, just a cable. So you need one of your own. I highly recommend the manufacturer add a switch since plugging it in and out is going to wear the USB adapter out. Not mention it’s a pain. There are four UV lights of medium brightness. It does do the job without overheating the resin so no complaints there. Plus it’s rather handy to have a UV light that you can move around.Previous:I’ve only used a few colors so far but the small UV resin pieces I did came out really great. These are not translucent when glowing and not glowing, but it’s just what I wanted. The powder is super fine and dissolved in the resin quickly yet allowed me to add swirling effects and not appear like it’s powder added. The colors glow bright and different colors which is written on each bag. I recommend this product for anyone new or experienced.
