So nourishing!!! Visibly Worked After 1 Wash
I have been trying to add streaks to my hair, which is about 70% natural, virgin hair with a few inches of previously dyed hair. In addition, I posted a photo of the quarter of hair that was previously lightened about a year ago. I recently visited a salon for full highlights, which was supposed to include toning my hair to achieve a uniform effect on both sides. However, the salon did a terrible job and I didn’t want to return for color correction. I looked into boxed color correcting options, but reviews deterred me. I didn’t want to apply more chemicals to my hair and to sustain damage or dryness. This shampoo is AMAZING! Not only did I immediately see results after just one wash, it smells divine and my hair was softer, hydrated, and shinier after using the shampoo. This product is so underrated! Before trying to color correct, try this shampoo!

Significant difference with removing Blue
As anyone who has dyed their hair blue before knows, it's next to impossible to remove blue. I've done 4 rounds of this shampoo, and each time it takes a significant amount of color out. I will say, use more product, I sectioned my hair into 4 parts and used a quarter sized amount per section. And I did leave it sit for 5-10 minutes vs the recommended 3min on the bottle. This makes my hair Shiney and smells great, it is a little drying but nothing a good leave in conditioner can't fix. If your hair has damaged from bleaching, I'd say skip a day or two in between using this multiple times. Overall bang for your buck as a chemical free way to remove direct dye.

Purple to lavender
After 3 washes my daughter’s bright purple hair turned to a lovely lavender color. My daughter has natural pale blonde hair that takes color a little too well. The purple color was a semi permanent but regular shampoo did nothing to help take some of the color out. This really did help the color fade but did need a couple of washes.

It's more of a clarifying shampoo than anything.
As a heavy Keracolour user, I was thrilled to see this product. Thinking I could easily lift the colours laid down by the companies colour deposit shampoo. Sadly that is not the case. I don't really see any lifting or fading of the colour past what normally occurs with other non fading shampoos, just normal fade. I was hoping it would have a similar scent to the depositing shampoos, its more of a dulled version with a stale chalky scent. Think the non gelled Head and Shoulders circa 1980s. I will say my scalp doesn't hate the shampoo. It feels clean, and not irritated. So that is a positive. Also, a little goes a long way in foaming and spread. It is not watery, its a nice gelled substance from bottle to hand. All and all, if you like the company, this is a decent shampoo for weekly use to clean your scalp and hair. I don't know if it will necessarily help fade. It did not on mine.

It's meh
I had purple Splat in my hair, and I bought this because I wanted to change colors. I saw good reviews for people that also had splat and it had worked to fade the color. It did fade my purple a little bit, but not nearly enough, even after washing my hair with hot as I could stand water and washing every other day. It was basically just dulling the purple I had, not necessarily fading it. You could still 100% tell it was purple. I ended up bleaching to get the purple out because this wasn't working like other reviews said. It's also VERY drying to your hair and mine, while already frizzy, was made even more frizzy by this shampoo. I'll use the rest of it just to use it, but I won't ever buy it again. I got my hopes up because other reviews with Splat specifically said it had worked and showed it worked. Guess it all depends on what color you had in your hair prior. It does smell okay, and it lathers really well. That's about all I like about it.

Works slowly
It works but it takes multiple washes to see any change. Wash in hot water and wash more than once each time, you will eventually see faded color. I dyed my hair with xmondo.

Working on DEMI-permanent color!!
Ok, I'm the kind of girl that completely freaks out if my color isn't exactly what I wanted. This happened 3 weeks ago. I wanted to match my grown out blonde to my roots again, and my stylist made all my hair the WRONG color. Instead of a nice ashey dark blonde (like my root) my hair came out warm brunette, TOO DARK and too red-ish. Needless to say I panicked, but instead of going for a "panic bleach bath", I decided to get this color fading shampoo, just praying to God there was a way to fix this without bleach again. I'm 3 weeks in, using this every other day, and my hair color is getting close to being completely washed out!! I didn't really think this would work, but holy crap, it does! It SERIOUSLY speeds up the wash-out life of hair dye.If you're trying to get out DEMI-permanent color like me (the hardest to get out other than permanent dye) The way I have been using this that's been working is applying it every 2-3 days, to my DRY hair, and then wrap it in a hair cap. I let it sit for 15 - 30 minutes, then hop in the shower to wash it out and deep condition after. (THIS IS NOT THE INSTRUCTIONS, SO TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK TO SCALP) - I personally just got a little dandruff, that's all -I've done this process for a total of 10 washes now and my DEMI-permanent color is almost totally out. It's sticking a little harder to my blonde ends because they're more porous, but that's to be expected. I'm telling you, this shampoo is a GOD SEND. You totally CAN fix your screwed up color without bleach, just be persistent with this shampoo!! I will 100% buy again
