Way too much money for this doll.
Her hair will not lay down. Once you place the battery in the back of her and turn her on, she starts making the "sucking sound" and doesn't stop until you turn it off...her thumb does not need to be in her mouth. Her outfit is cheaply made. One of her pigtail holders was broken and dangling on her head. I was extremely disappointed.

A face only a mother could love
This doll does not look like the picture. I bought it for my daughter's birthday. It is butt-ugly. Just sayin'.

The eyes are purple, not blue. Many people think she is real.

Sleepytime Emma (nothing like pictured)
I ordered this directly from the Ashton Drake website because they offer installment payments after the first payment she is shipped. She looks nothing like the picture. Her hair is fuzz and not smooth like the picture. She is sort of bug eyed out of the box so I tried to push her face around to look more real. It helped a little. Maybe it was because of the mechanism in her face to make her make sucking sounds. She has a battery pack in her back that requires 3 AA batteries (note: if purchased for a little girl, should keep extra batteries on hand if she leaves the doll in the on position and forgets to turn her off). I sorta got it to look okay. I played around with her hair to try and make it look better - I put foam rollers in her ponytails overnight. It didn't work too good, though. I gave her side swept bangs instead of straight down because I thought she looked a little better when I did this. This must have been an earlier version of this doll because it looks nothing like the cute doll pictured. Ashton Drake must have wanted to get rid of the earlier versions so they pawned them off on unsuspecting customers. I was kinda deceived by the Ashton Drake Galleries. Next time I will be more careful ordering from Ashton drake

Disappointed
Arrived before date package a bit bashed. Doll was not like picture did not sit up very well thumb did not go near mouth. Not a angelic looking doll it was quite ugly don't go by picture. I spent a long time looking for this doll as picture reminds me of my daughter Emma looking angelic and sucking her thumb cuddling her dog. I was very disappointed.
