Kobalt 250-Piece Mechanic's Tool Set # 86213 by Kobalt

Sweet Kobalt tool set with very high quality and heavy 72 tooth quick-release ratchets (most tool sets at this price are much lower quality). Just the tools (no case) but comes with a lot more sockets that fit 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 ratchets (the 3 different size ratchets included). I hate tool set cases anyways so when I saw that I could get a lot more tools for the same price if i forgo the case I got excited!! This set is mostly all sockets of different sizes with both 6pt and 12pt, regular and deep, and SAE 7/32in through 1in and metric 4mm through 22mm. That's a total of a 134 different sockets! Nice if you're trying to put together a new tool set like I am. This set also comes with basic nutdrives, 40 hex keys, 6 Torx bits (star bits) t10, t15, t20, t25, t27, t30, a few extensions for the wrenches and lots of combination wrench (the double sided wrench). The box looks like it has tons of combo wrenches, which it does, but half of them are "mini" and they really are, about the size of my pinky (that's what she said). Also comes with 2 magnetic bit drivers, one for the various nutdrives and the other you can place any of the sockets and torx bits on. That's pretty much it, this set is awesome if you're mostly looking for a complete socket set that is affordable and of high quality. Like I said the wrenches are nice and heavy with a great finish and they're 72-toothed which is better than most sets these days at a low price. Doesn't come with a tape measure, pliers or some cheap hammer, all of which I either already have or would rather get better quality/quantity buying separately. Took me a while to go Kobalt because I couldn't find much information on them but I guess if no ones ragging on them they must be pretty good, and I'm definitely glad I went Kobalt, mine even came with a cool sticker!! Tool set has everything you'll need. However I wish there was more of a wrench selection included

I'm disappointed. The quality of the tools seem okay, but these could have been designed a lot better. The lettering that indicates the size of each socket is hard to read, and I'm not sure how durable the lettering is either. Also, the lettering is not consistently aligned with the base, so if you put them in a socket organizer they do not face square to the front, and they are not all in the same position either. I expected better. Also, no large wrenches are included.
