Everything working, verbose documentation.
Screen is good and the joystick and buttons all work ok. Great for the price. Using Python at the moment as the C++ seems to assume you are using a raspberry pi to program the pico rather than windows and I can't be bothered fighting with the documentation yet.

Solides kleines Display mit einfachen Eingabemöglichkeiten.
Das Display kommt ohne irgendeine Anleitung sicher verpackt.Der Hersteller bietet ein kleines Beispielprojekt für das Display inkl. der Buttons an (auf der Artikelseite findet man den Link). Das ist ganz praktisch, da man damit recht schnell testen kann ob das Display und die Buttons vollständig funktionieren.Das Beispiel ist einfach installiert, es fehlt allerdings ein Bild mit der Ausrichtung des Picos. Es wird zwar angezeigt auf welcher Seite der USB-Anschluss ist, aber wenn man einen Pico ohne Pins hat ist das trotzdem noch nicht eindeutig. Ich habe mich daher an den fertig gelöteten Picos bei Amazon orientiert, so hat es dann funktioniert.Das Display ist ziemlich hell (gut erkennbar an dem absolut überbelichteten Bild), die Farben sehen soweit auch ganz gut aus. Die Buttons und der Stick (da ist ebenfalls noch ein Button integriert) lassen sich gut bedienen.Preislich ist das Display mit ~14 Euro nicht unbedingt günstig, ich hätte es bei 10-12 Euro eingeordnet. Grundsätzlich kann ich es aber trotzdem empfehlen.

This 2" display module is perfect for easily adding a display to a Raspberry Pi Pico. The Pico does need to have soldered headers, but with that, it just cleanly plugs into the display with no extra wiring required. I like that the display also has four built-in buttons you can use for controlling your applications as well.All the information you need to use the display and links to example code can be found in the Waveshare wiki for the display. The link to that wiki is provided in the listing description. The attached picture shows the output of the Waveshare demo code.Overall, I found this display to be relatively easy to use, and the fact it is made specifically for the Pico also makes it convenient to experiment with.
