Plastruct FARG-2H Fluor Grn Rod1/16 10 PLS90261 Plastic Building Supplies

I was hoping these were more rigid. Being a person who like to scratch build HO scale models, I am always looking for new materials to help me achieve that goal. For these, I wanted to take some small lengths of these rods, chuck it in my Dremel tool, and shape it with a file or sand paper to make miniature bottles for my small scenes. But the rods are not rigid enough to keep them from bending while sanding or filing. So for my purpose, they are not usable. If I had access to a small lathe where I could hold the end in a tail stock, it might be different, but I don't. So at this time, they are not useful to me. The price was good, however, and I am sure they have a lot of other uses, but for the one thing I wanted them for, they are not very useful. Maybe one day if I can rig up something, that might change. Or maybe I need to change my method to turn them down.
