Love, love, love this bamboo top. So beautiful and large. I paired it with the desk frame VWINDESK VJ205 Electric Height Adjustable Sitting Standing Desk Frame Sit Stand - Dual Motors 3 Stages Motorized Desk Base Only, Black-sold by the same company and it works perfect! Lifts all my equipment with no wobble, very sturdy, quite motors. Very happy with my purchase. The complete looks is exactly what I was going for- steady frame with solid one piece top, 80 inches of great bamboo workspace. Marked holes on the desktop made it easy to attach the frame. Arrived with no damage, well packed.

As the images show, I didn’t use this desk top as intended, but wow is it incredible! The finish is beautiful, it’s well made, sturdy, and highly enjoyable to use. For some details: I live in the Northwest of the United States, and delivery took 5 days—delayed one day past it’s original estimation. It arrived with the box damaged at the corner, and based on other’s reviews, I panicked a bit (this was my second desk top ordered because I ordered a contoured one from another brand originally, but didn’t factor the width of the cube shelves well enough, so I had to send that back and get this one). Thankfully the product was packaged incredibly well with protective foam sections throughout the entire box, but also reinforced, dense foam at the corners, anticipating a banged-up box. *Chef’s Kiss* I’m so happy this setup worked beautifully, and hope these photos can inspire someone else to consider this great desk top for something other than a standing desk too! If so, I recommend IKEA cube shelves over the pictured ClosetMaid brand—they’re way higher quality. Also, I used non-slip furniture pad stickers on the top of the shelves to create cushion, to add tension, and to ensure that I could get a perfectly level desk top on uneven cube shelves before screwing them down to the desk top. (And be sure to pre-drill holes to avoid cracking the bamboo.) I love this setup, and am so happy with my purchase! Thank you!

Honestly, I did a ton of research before buying this. I bought a very popular standing desk frame from another company (think most popular on Amazon) and paired it with this bamboo topper. I called around to local cabinet stores, woodworking shops, searched around on Craigslist for butcher blocks, the whole nine yards. This one had the best price and dimensions I wanted (30" depth for WFH purposes is infinitely better than the standard 24" you'll find at home depot/Lowes/etc). There is a minor scuff on one of the 4 edges, but it isn't noticeable or bothersome to me. The top is smooth and drilling into it couldn't have been easier. Just put some painters tape around your drill bit so you know when to stop drilling your pilot holes. Lay it flat on carpet so you minimize the chance of scratching it. I managed to attach it to the frame (two T-bar legs) by myself in about 15 minutes. 10/10 would buy again

This review is for the VWINDESK VJ205 desk frame and the VWINDESK Solid Bamboo 80" table top, which is sold separately. ---------- Desk Frame [ ASIN B08CN7D36V ] : It's solid; I don't feel any swaying at all, even when I have it at standing height. The only time I can get it to sway is when I deliberately push hard enough to do so. But when typing and using it like a desk, it's completely stationary. The load capacity is listed at 320 lbs. The 80" table top weighs ~50lbs. My LG 43" 43UN700-B weighs ~40lbs. My 2 LG 32UN880-B weigh ~23lbs each. My total load is about 136lbs and probably a little bit more with computers and power adapters, which are hanging off the cable management trays [ ASIN B09Z3TW8LT ] clipped to the desk. Let's say 140lbs altogether. The lowest height is 23.6 and the maximum height is 49.3". I have my sitting position at 28" and my standing position at 38.5". This is perfect for me at 5'10" tall. ---------- Table Top [ ASIN B08BYKT12Q ] : It's fabulous. It's strong, smooth, cleans well with just water, and has a color similar to birch or light oak. The warm light shining on it from the desktop gives it a golden hue. It's very beautiful. It measures almost 80"x30"x1". It fits my small studio apartment (~350sqft) perfectly. Since my place isn't large, the desk serves as my dining area and my work area. The table top is big enough to keep my 3 laptops (1 PC for work, 2 Macs for personal) on top of it along with my 3 monitors, keyboard, and large mousepad. But I bought the IKEA DAJLIEN Bench, which is also made from bamboo, to hold my 2019 16" Intel Macbook Pro and my 2020 13" M1 Macbook Air and this allows most of the desk to hold other things like my dining tray or books. ---------- Overall : I've had this desk frame and top for ~1 month now and I'm extremely pleased with the setup. Since both products are by VWINDESK, the table top came with pre-drilled holes. Both the frame and table top were packaged well with lots of foam padding. The directions were exceptionally clear, which is odd for many products coming from China, and it came with all tools needed for assembly. I had this desk bookmarked for a very long time and I'm glad I bought it. I had a feeling that the triangular supports would make this desk very stable and I was right; great functional design choice!!! I plan on buying another one for a family member. Before you spend over $1K on another desk, which probably uses the same electronics, give this one a try. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

The item weight for the 30x60 is actually about 45lbs, 150% of what’s advertised (30lbs) which can be an issue if you’re replacing a standing desk top and have a lot of stuff on your desk. It works for me because I had some headroom for the desk I put it on. Otherwise it seems nicely constructed and arrived well packed.

The bamboo grain looks premium, and the surface feels durable and smooth. Perfect as a replacement tabletop or custom desk build. Eco-friendly, stylish, and sturdy. I love it!

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Received the desk today and I inspected before assembly. The entire desk is bowed and there are multiple cracks. Terrible build quality. I do not recommend buying at all. Look at the one star reviews before buying. There are multiple reviews stating how the desk cracked over time. I believe it's do to the pressure put on the bowed wood.

Ordered the 72"x30"x1" top. Delivery was longer by a week but It seems this was due to technical difficulties at the courier. The package arrived with damage but the Tabletop inside was not damaged as it was very well protected. The Tabletop is beautiful and very sturdy. I matched this with a frame from Anthrodesk and everything is perfect. I did have to drill pilot holes to match my frame though. The Table comes with pilot holes already drilled to match VWINDESK frames but I already had a frame. I wish I had the option in this size to get the rounded edges but I can work with this too. Love the Table and can highly recommend it.

The bamboo desktop looks very nice, and this length (72in) was perfect. A bit heavy (engineered wood/bamboo), but I am not going to lift it anymore (the motors will do that for me). It has a smooth feeling when touching it. The package was delivered with a bit of the packaging broken in the middle - right where there was no edge protection. I took pictures before unpacking, but luckily everything was OK (I saw the delivery guy handling it a bit roughly).

I have one that I use as my main computer desk and a second for a sewing table. Very happy with both purchases.

I really wanted to love this desk top, and despite being delivered relatively well protected, the box arrived with damage and the top surface has a big scratch. For the avoidance of doubt, this does not appear to be from the factory (since there is ~1/2" of foam between the desk and the cardboard), but rather Purolator or the freight forwarder. Despite this, I was planning on trimming the depth from 30" to 24", and in retrospect, it's cheaper to head to Home Depot and buy bamboo kitchen countertops which are a more reasonable desk depth for my needs. With that said, if you need a 30" deep desk, this desk top would be great. Pros: Good surface finish all round Bunch of pre-drilled holes and pre-tapped countersunk fasteners The cable access points come with covers! Cons: Could apparently use more protection
