I've tested these to work on an SM7B, and they do exactly that. Despite the lack of a plastic ring at the end of the windscreen, they stay on fine and block plosives as expected. They're also nice and thick. If you have an SM59, these are also a fantastic choice. Shure discontinued the A59WS windscreen made for that microphone years ago leaving no direct replacement. Because of the lack of a plastic retainer ring on the end of these, the cost and construction makes these a great candidate to cut to the size of an A59WS for use on an SM59. They need to be cut down to about 3 1/8" for a good fit. I'll likely keep buying these in the future for that purpose.

First off, everyone saying that it doesn't fit is wrong. You have to soak it in hot water, then wring it out and let it dry. Any foam products you order from Amazon will usually come squished and depressed. You usually either have to let them soak it or let it puff out. Anyways, this filter helped a lot. My Shure MV7 is an awesome mic but the included filter was terrible. Literally garbage. I like to have my gain cranked high and the plosives were terrible. As soon as I put this filter on, it's so much better. Night and day. Visually, it looks kinda stupid on the MV7 because it's so long and the body of the MV7 is short. It's definitely worth buying if you have an MV7. Actually, if you have an MV7, I strongly recommend it.

it fits well, it does not come with the plastic ring at the end like original but it looks like the original piece. i just bought it and so far does not interfere whit sound quality.

Great pop cover for my Fifine microphone! It’s designed for the Shure mic but does work well for other similar microphones. I had to do a little trimming in the bottom to make it work well for the Fifine but came out great! Very good value! Love the black color also. Very clean looking.

I picked up this LEFXMOPHY replacement foam for my Shure SM7B, and honestly, it is just okay. The actual foam material is decent enough and does a fine job of cutting down on plosives while talking. However, the major flaw is how it attaches. Unlike the original OEM Shure windscreen, this replacement doesn't have that inner plastic ring that snaps it securely into place. Because of that, it just kind of slides onto the mic and doesn't stay locked down, which is frustrating if you move or adjust your mic arm frequently. It works in a pinch, but the fit isn't nearly as secure as the original.

Bought to replace my shure mv7 pop filter to help reduce plosives and it does just that. It did come a little deformed and squashed but surprisingly turned to proper form after having it on for a bit. The original mv7 foam pop filter is very thin at the top and is right up against the diaphragm (if thats the proper word for it) so unless you are far away, all the plosives in the world are heard. The plosives are definitely way better, although I preferred how I sound when I was closer to the mic, but the trade off is worth it. The reason for this is that this filter creates quite a substantial gap between the diaphragm, and the tip, more similar to how the shure sm7b is. This does change how your voice sounds ever so slightly, but honestly its negligible compared to how much clearer everything is without the plosives. I also think it makes the mic look a little better and less stubby which was one of my original complaints (the two being plosives and the stubby look). Would def recommend if you are looking to improve your audio set up.

I bought this windscreen for the original SM7 microphone, made in the 80's, before the SM7A or SM7B. I've been through a few windscreens for this mic over the years, including the original windscreen made by Shure. I had my doubts about The quality of this windscreen, but I was pleasantly surprised! The quality is excellent, and it's very durable! Also, it fits perfectly on the microphone. What I like most about this windscreen, is that the phone is thicker and heavier than the original windscreen, which makes it more durable. The original windscreen was very thin, and would tear easily, but this one is much more durable. Also, it looks great on the microphone! It doesn't have the plastic ring at the bottom, but it doesn't need it. The windscreen fits very snuggly, and doesn't fall off. You will hardly notice that the ring is missing. When the package first arrived, the windscreen was completely flattened, but when I took it out of the package, it opened up in the correct shape right away, and fit perfectly on the microphone right out of the package. I would recommend this windscreen to anyone with an SM7 model mic. The quality is excellent, and it does a great job of reducing pops and wind noise.

This is a good alternative to the original SM7B windscreen. Used this on my MV7 and it significantly helps affect the plosives and keeps your mouth at a further distance away from the mic. Still pricey for what it is, but would recommend.

The foam was coming apart on my Shure SM7B microphone so i wanted to replace it. This worked perfectly and made it look brand new. It was also very easy to put on, fit nicely on the Mic to. If you need some new foam for your SM7B, I would highly suggest this one, I might even buy another one for the future, awesome product that did just what I wanted it to do.
