BEWELLWood Watches for Men Handmade Analog Quartz Wooden Wrist Watch

This is my second wood watch and I really like the look and feel of this type of dress watch.There is almost no weight to it, it seems, and the wood grain and stain is gorgeous. The finish throughout is perfect, all edges are smooth and there are no snags and no wrist hair “pulls” that I’d get on a similar style band made of metal. Once adjusted, the fitment is perfect for me. The clock face is large, simple and easy to read, with no numbers, just hour and minute marks. The sweep red second hand is there when you need it if timing something and it adds just a touch of contrast. The crystal has a beveled edge and sits just slightly above the main body of the watch. I can be very rough on watches and the first thing to go is the crystal. I’m glad that the crystal doesn’t sit higher. Nevertheless, I will only be wearing this on certain occasions, as I prefer a more rugged and cheaper sport watch that usually last me a year or so for everyday wear. But this lovely watch by BEWELL will be my Go-To watch for special occasions. I love that it reminds me to “be well”.Taking the two small pins out in order to remove a link(s) and then reinserting a pin to reconnect the band took no more than 5-6 minutes. Very easy, just be sure to start on the side that has the center-indent, not the flat side of the pin. Set the watch into the included tool and slowly turn the screw to gently push the pin out. Keep the band from rising on the pressure side by holding it level and be mindful of the pin exit, it must align with the open slot in the tool. You will feel pressure at first, then a release. Back the tool out and now you can pull the pin out by hand. Repeat to remove the needed link(s). Rejoin the band and reinsert the pin, pressing in the same direction that it was removed, first with the flat end of the cylinder tip, then to go a bit deeper, with the narrow tip, gently pressing in until you feel resistance.Highly recommended!

Overall I do like the design of this watch. The wood and simple face create a minimalist design that works well with a variety of styles. While this does come with a pin remover for adjusting the strap, mine wouldn't work. The pin remover was too large, and I needed to use a different watch repair tool. The pin wouldn't have been able to remove or re-insert without it. I do like the watch, however.

The watch arrives in a small box made of cardboard (which sticks to the theme of it being eco-friendly). On the box, there is also information about the different types of wood that the watch comes in. The watch itself is very pretty. The wood grain is nice and really stands out. The blue face of the watch is nice as well. The movement is a Japanese quartz movement with no special complications. However, I think that it adds to the simplicity and natural design of the watch. The links are easy to adjust - thanks to an included tool and very helpful instructions. The watch is lightweight and it almost feels like there is nothing on your wrist. Overall, this is a great wooden watch.
