I am really upset that this lipstick completely and totally exceeded my expectations because now i am going to be spending all of my money buying more of these.First of all, when you open up the lipstick you’re hit with the smell of cupcakes and happiness. Remember that scene from ratatouille where the critic tastes the food and is instantly transformed back to his childhood? Yeah that’s what this lip stick did for me.Secondly, it goes on SO SMOOTH! Doesn’t clump up or make me feel like I’ve got acrylic paint on my lips.Oh and did i mention the fact that it lasts ALL DAY?! Im a chronic lip licker and this still stayed on.AND IT ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE THE PICTURE!Thanks Lime Crime for making sure that my wallet will never be full again because i have an addiction to feed.

I am in love with this lip color!!!!! I purchased "Eclipse". The color is gorgeous & it stays on all day long. The only time I needed to reapply it was after eating & I didn't have to even reapply much. I get tons of compliments on this lip color. This is my go to color now. The texture is wonderful on my lips, I don't feel dried out, & it has a very light sweet scent. I will definitely be buying some of the other shades in this metallic line. & the customer service is amazing, they contacted me to make sure I got my items which I really appreciate. Such a great transaction.

Despite the fact that I haven't really liked any of the Velvetines I've purchased this far, I really liked the color of Eclipse and decided to order. I have to say that this has been the first Lime Crime lip product I have actually liked. The color is pretty true to the online photo but maybe a little less metallic in person which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.Eclipse is a burgundy with a brick undertone that isn't overly dark. It looks really pretty on my NC20 skin tone and it doesn't make my teeth look yellowed like some of the other Velvetines shades I've tried. It applies better than some of the other shades as well and the wear is pretty fantastic. I had to touch up after eating because it faded in the middle, but that's to be expected. It doesn't make my lips look dry or aged like some of the other shades have done either.All in all, happy I bought it and I'd likely try another metallic color in the future.

I've heard rave reviews and was worried it wouldn't live up to the hype, but it did. Depending on the lighting, it looks coppery dark orangish red. I was hoping for a deep crimson/burgundy look. I love the metallic and it really shows. It was easy to put on and has a pleasant scent. It was not drying on my lips. I find other mattes tend to dry out my lips, but not this one. It had great staying power through eating and drinking. It dries pretty fast. I'll definitely be getting more. I got eclipse.

The color comes off VERY easily, transferring constantly to teeth and anything you come into contact with. Reasonably long-wearing- at least 5 hours (except for transfer problem). Not good coverage for the inner edge of lip where there's more moisture- it seems like it can't dry down there and just vanishes. It is my first time using lime crime products, a bit disappointed. Don't know if it is just the formula of this particular color or not.

I got eclipse, beautiful color!!! Feels like nothing is on your lips. Extremely pigmented ( this is one swipe) I love it, I want it in every color. This stuff is long wear, kiss proof, and wonderful. I'm not talking Kat von d long wear but this will last for a 9-5 job kinda long wear. This is my favorite fall lip color.

It does NOT stay put like it claims to. It dries to a gritty powder, and flakes off when talking. I had to reapply 3 times in the span of one morning (and I didn't eat anything, just drank water). I figure for a $20 lipstick, it should live up to its claim. I will stick with Maybelline Superstay 24hr (cheaper and actually does stay put). I will give it 2 stars because the color was great.

OK, when I first put this on I had no idea this was like a type of lip stain, boy does it STAY. I panicked since baby wipes wern't working (I don't have makeup wipes) and quickly looked online on how to remove it. They told me vaseline. I had no vaseline. I had baby wipes. So then I used chapstick and that worked, and I thought, would it be easier to wipe off if I applied a base coat of chapstick underneath?AND HOLY HELL IS IT EASY.Color (I ordered Eclipse and Rasin Hell) is great and it lasts long as heck, but ofc if you eat some will inevitably come off. It looks darker on me since I have a light skin tone and would pair nice with simple black eyeliner and filled in brows, nothing too crazy.Edit: oily foods takes this off like CRAZY. I went to go eat KBBQ with my friends and my lipstick heavily stained my cup and my chopsticks. Surprisingly, it didn't look touched (but it did look glossy because of all the oil)
