Big improvement replacing the OEM nut with the KAT modification to my angle grinder. KAT wrench works way better than the old pin type wrench which came with my grinder. Pins kept breaking off when trying to break the grinding wheel free. Only drawback is they should have made the handle of the wrench longer for better tork.

BUYER BEWARE: I'm sure the product works great (haven't tried it yet) but both the Amazon description ("2 of...") AND the product photo clearly show two each of inner/outer flanges. Product shipped contains only one set of inner/outer flanges and the hex wrench. I bought two sets, expecting to have four pairs of flanges on hand. Not worth my time to return them, though I definitely wouldn't have paid $50 for only two sets of flanges as I received. Ya got me, Amazon! Glad I also shop Aliexpress to cut out the middle man.

Ordered this kit thinking the backing flange would be thinner. It isn't. Also doesn't fit as they mixed the nut and backing flange with metric and inch sizes. Nut works, wrench is nice, flange unusable. Suggest to just get the hex nut and not waste your money on this kit. In most cases you have to forgo even using a backing flange with using single or multiple King Arthur saw blades to have enough length left to tighten the hex nut on your grinder.

Package had obviously been opened. The universal flange and universal nut were taped in. Took the universal nut out and realized the nut didn’t have a HEX on it and the Included wrench is worthless.
