Amazing Authentic Argentine Cook Book
This book is extremely thorough with detailed descriptions and beautiful photography! My husband is from Argentina and I thought this would be a great book for him to have and use to bring his culture of weekend asado to the states. This book is so much more than just grill recipes though too, it is full of other staples such as empandas, choripan, chimichurri and so much more. I would recommend this book to anyone who is familiar with Argentina style food, but also to anyone that wants to learn more about the processing of cooking over fire. Would recommend over and over!

Quality recipes, amazing food
Chef Lucarelli is a master of his craft. His passion and authenticity shines through each recipe. From his all purpose chimichurri (have you had it with your eggs?!) to grandma’s bread pudding, each recipe brings your world to life. German’s accomplishments and life story warm your heart with each dish you cook. Don’t forget to visit Kennebunkport to see Chef in action at The Lost Fire. It’s an experience you’ll never forget!

Pretty, but not the most functional
This book is absolutely beautiful when you get it, nice and sturdy.Unfortunately, that’s where the fun ends. I thought this book would be more about outdoor grilling or open flame grilling but there’s many recipes that are mainly designed for indoors and not a lot of creativity between different recipes. For example, all the steak is seasoned fairly the same just different cook times are listed and a few minor changes. If you’re looking for a pretty table top book, this would work if you’re looking for a functional cookbook this is not my favorite.
