This means no more wrestling with a clanking metal ironing board..Much tidier.

The mat is well made. The reason for giving 4 is that I have a steam iron and if the mat was slightly thicker it would stop some of the condensation on the table. I have to use a towel underneath. I like it and use it anyway.

Great way to iron clothes without a board. It does let through a LOT of moisture, however if you use steam, so watch out where you put it.

It so much easier to use than a ironing board as it is portable. Use it for ironing on interfacing and pressing. Overall it’s excellent

Unfortunately, I found the mat to be 2cm short of the advertised description of 120cm long. As you can see from the photo it is 118cm long. Also the underside could have benefited from by having a lining to cover the otherwise 'exposed' wadding material. Without a lining, the wadding will become dirty more quickly and frequent washing might wear it down quickly.

The rubber iron plate is really good.

I bought this ironing mat as I have a holiday let and therefore a lot of bedding to iron! It’s extremely useful laid on a table giving me a large area to wrestle my fitted sheets into submission.I put the mat on top of a thick blanket and a cotton sheet but still managed to warp my (plastic) table underneath. It was a bit dim of me and I will use more blanketing next time.The nobbly iron pad in the corner is a tad annoying but certainly not a deal breaker for me. I love the item and would recommend it to others.

Not as good as I was hoping. Allowed the steam through which left the table damp
