This is a great carrier......
This is a great carrier. I also own the Sherpa on wheels and this one is far superior. This carrier is roomier and very lightweight. It is also built sturdier than the Sherpa. The zippers and fabric are much more substantial. The wheels turn on a dime and are very easy to attach/detach. It is also nice that it is expandable. I have not yet used it for airline travel but that is the plan. So far I have gotten my puppy comfortable being in it with lots of treats. My only concern is that my puppy will grow too large but that is not any fault of the carrier. So far my puppy is about 14 lbs and he fits pretty good laying down. Fingers crossed he doesn't grow too much more.

Helpful but a little awkward
I needed to bring my old chihuahua mix dog on a flight with me, so I got this carrier because it was supposed to fit under the seat, and I liked the wheels feature (so my back wouldn't be destroyed after carrying her all day on my shoulder). Here are the good things: it does fit under the seat on the airplane (in 2023 at least), but BARELY. It's a super tight squeeze to get it under there, but you can. You'll have to remove the wheels frame and store that overhead though. Also, the sides expand out, so when you're in the terminal waiting around, you can give your pet a little more breathing room. It's also really convenient to have your pet securely rolling along behind you in the busy terminals, and you don't have to struggle with a heavy shoulder bag while you're rushing to a gate. The not-so-good: She's only about 15-16 pounds, but she's got longer legs I guess, and this carrier was pretty small for her. I had to make her lie down to get the top closed, so she was squished in there when I had to board. I did unzip the top once we were in the terminal, and even once we were in the air (no one seemed to mind) so she could pop her head out. Secondly, the wheels on this thing... it's like they move all around independently, and it was difficult to pull along right behind me like you would luggage. It kept drifting all over the place, so I'd have to lock my wrist tight to keep it behind me. Lastly, it's a little awkward to take the carrier off the wheel frame and put back on, especially if you try to do that on the plane. It's best to take the carrier off the frame before boarding and put back on in the terminal. So you do have to be able to carry the dog in those situations. Overall, I'm really happy I got this because it did what I needed it to. If I could make any changes, it would be to add the expandable panel to the top of the carrier, so the dog could have her head up but still be zipped in while in the terminal. Also, those wheels need some better structure. But it's well made and held up great over the trip.

BEST CARRIER EVER!!!!!
If I could get it 100 stars I would. The best carry I have Ever bought!!!! Big enough for my 2 cats together or my one small dog. I love that the inside you can unzip and wash. VERY easy to roll around. Even if you go in circles with it. Definitely worth the money!!

Updated review...good customer service
UPDATE 4/22/23: Ruff Life Customer Care doesn't mess around! I received the replacement frame (along with the sweetest note from Amy) right away. Soph and I thrilled to get back in the skies this week ✈️ Thanks, Ruff Life! UPDATE 4/18/23: Customer Care read my review and contacted me to let me know they would be shipping out a new base for this carrier today. Much appreciated! UPDATE 3/7/23: I bought this carrier in October and have used it less than five times but the frame around the wheel cracked on my last flight yesterday. The return/exchange window has closed and I can't figure out how to contact the seller for help. Considering the price of the carrier, it should not already be broken.... ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is a nice carrier! The wheels function smoothly so far and I like the foldout option to give my pup more room. As frequent flyers, we are missing pockets for doggy bags and a water dish but you could clip those on. The handle is sturdy and smooth and Velcros to the case which is good bc otherwise, it can cause the carrier to tip backwards slightly when you start to move. I think the Sherpa on the sides should be able to be removed for washing or better ventilation on warm occasions and I really wish the zippers functioned more smoothly. But those little things don't stop us from liking the carrier a lot! The size is roomy enough while still being small enough to fit under most airline's seat. We like it!

Best Carrier overall
This is absolutely the best pet carrier for our mini poodle, 10 pounds. It’s the perfect perfect size and the wheels and handle make it so easy in the airport. Thank you cozy cruiser.

Best cat carrier ever.
Best cat carrier. We flew from the Midwest to the Southwest very recently and had to connect through Salt Lake where our connecting gate was a very long walk away. This carrier worked perfectly. Wheels come off when necessary to store the carrier under the plane seat. Very easy to take the wheels off and re-attach them. Once the carrier is in place, it can be expanded. Our 16 pound cat loved the carrier. It is also made of top quality material and well constructed with a handle that allows it to be pulled easily.
