Great for cost and size
I bought this to get laptop to interface and test communications with different control protocol on RS-485 networks. Mostly Bacnet, Modbus, and some ASCII with Hyperterminal. I don't use it daily so unsure how it would last in that duty, however, it has lasted in computer bag and service truck. I use it probably 2x a month. No problems found so far and has always worked and hasn't had any conflicts on Windows 7. The terminal connections are very small and seem fragile at times. I usually just leave a pigtail connected on the converter end and just disconnect the wires (22AWG) on other end. I would recommend or purchase again.
