Hard light bulbs, last a long time great to save money on lights that are left on long time like porch lights.

These bulbs are an amazing value. I purchased them to replace some broken bulbs in my photographic softbox (which required a temperature around 5100K). These were so much cheaper than the "manufacturer recommended bulbs" from the softbox's website. I don't have to worry about breaking any more of these in the future at such an affordable price. They seem just as bright as the originals (which, to most of the people I put in front of them, is too bright even on half power!) and take up less space in my travel container (they're about 3/4 the height of the original bulbs).

The packaging is very insufficient and its “cardboard” box is flimsy. . The box arrived rattling as if something were broken—when we opened the box the first bulb fell out, apparently damaged, and broke further on the floor. Second bulb works fine. Hopefully the other two will as well.
