Jobe's Organics 08271 Flowering Liquid, Slow Release, and Water Soluble Plant Foods, 10 Oz, Brown

I bought this for use with an indoor hydroponics setup. I was growing celery greens, sage and green onion.This solution was great for starting up fresh herb cuttings and supplying far-between periodic nutrients to the more delicate plants.It's supposed to be diluted with a lot of water, a few gallons if I remember correctly, so it's clearly aimed at large farm setups. For me, it ended up being a tremendous boon for how much nutrient solution I could prepare for such a small amount of this fertilizer as I was only watering a couple of different plants.It came inside of a plastic bag with and a new twist tie all packaged in a box.One thing that could disturb some people is the smell -- be prepared if this applies to you because it's pretty gnarly. I imagine it's pretty similar to fresh compost. You'll want to have a sealed vessel to keep the solution in.

This morning I mixed up 4 gallons of this plant food in a 5 gallon bucket. Used a 1/2 gallon milk jug to scoop to ladle it on to my vegetables. Got to the bottom of the bucket and despite attempts to stir it there was a lot of power left. Feel like a lot of the product didn't make it on my plants. Think I'll buy a liquid fertilizer next time.

I got an Oncidium orchid as a gift for my 21st birthday, and after the blooms died I was unable to get it to bloom for years. I tried a variety of growing mediums, feeding schedules, and orchid foods, including Miracle Gro and had no luck. I bought this after reading the reviews, and I’m so glad I did. It smells like death and decay after being mixed, and especially after sitting once mixed (I’m a baker in KY, it smells like the fermented starter for salt-rising bread- cheese, ass, and dirty socks). Using this combined with mostly sphagnum moss in the pot and near-daily watering, my orchid FINALLY bloomed again! Love this product!

Effective natural plant food I use for all my acid soil plants. One of my scented orchid plants has been very difficult to grow new roots. This product along with earth worm casings and new wood chips and filtered water were able to get my orchid to produce new, large roots! Two things I don't like about this product is the stinky order it has and the stiff, short plastic bag it is stored inside the box. The bag issues creates a mess.

This product is a miracle as far as I’m concerned. Within a day or to after applying the product according to instructions the plants began to flower profusely. Have used in the past and will continue to recommend and purchase. Only thing i would try to improve is the solubility of the product. It is difficult to dissolve in the water and must be stirred for a while. None the less, would highly recommend you give this product a try. Very reasonably priced as well.

I rotate my fertilizers and decided to try this one because it's an organic product. I've used Jobe's granular fertilizers before and was satisfied with them. This is a powder you mix into water and apply as a liquid. The stuff is amazing! My roses really took off. I'm getting more growth and buds using this than I was from the granular ones. I'll still use organic dry fertilizers to feed the soil, but will supplement them with this product, which I'll definitely buy again. I wish it came in a larger size--I have a lot of roses.

I like it, and i think it works. My plants did not die, however I wish the packaging is a bit different and easier to use (close/open). The plastic is very inconvenient to open and I feel as though it doesnt seal the moisture out. I think it’s a good price though.
