I was a bit surprised to see the way the parts were packaged and so cleverly done and creative protecting all of the parts. More assembly then I expected but went well and functions beautifully. I recommend 8gallon bags.

I was impressed how it was packaged and how each part was protected from scratches and dents. Super easy to put together, Took maybe 10 minutes. It is the perfect size as a recycling bin. A standard sized paper grocery bag (what we use for recycling) fits PERFECTLY inside, but it also comes with a nice insert with a handle for easy removal. My favorite part is the auto-lid. Just a light wave and it opens so nicely. Looks very nice as well, I won't be hiding this under the sink (but I could if I wanted). I'm thrilled with this purchase. Highly recommend!

Updated March 2022. FUNZO does not make the same size trash can I bought, but they did resolve the problem with me.I purchased Funzo's trash can and 4 months later the lid stopped working. They refuse to offer any help. They say it's past 1 month. Before I bought they responded to a customer if the lid stopped working they would replace the lid. I tried to have many communications with both Funzo and Amazon. Only thing Amazon says is to contact the seller. The seller only says they won't replace the lid assembly or the trash can. It's past their time limit. Buyer beware. The trash can is nice if it holds up. But it is somewhat fragile and there's no warranty past 30 days!

The can works great in the open but under the kitchen sink the lid remains open.

Product seems good, was surprised it required assembly, but it was easy. Just with I knew shock size trash bags are recommended

I've just received this item & set it in place in my laundry room, and it's a perfect size for the relatively small space. The foot lever and slow-closing lid are functioning just fine and the overall quality is top-notch. I also appreciated the extremely sturdy packaging in which it was shipped!!
