Perfect for my art.
I make a lot of Resin skulls and my #1 seller is one that my Granddaughter designed. I call them Gearheads.I was making them with just gears and they sold great. Then I added shafts using these nuts to hold them. They sold better. Then I added chain-fall valves, also using these nuts. They sell like crazy!

Installed easy, looks good, works great
Embedded a bunch of these into a 3D printed helmet - and the results are incredible. Great value for the money.

Perfect for 3D printed projects
I decided to use these instead of encapsulating nuts in 3D printed projects. These are nice and make things you have to reassemble often much easier. However they are not super cheap while not being expensive enough to warrant recovering from projects/prototypes.I've have no lemons in my first batch and just ordered a second. If you are 3D printing with these, you want a 4.8 or 4.9mm hole for these. Don't make your holes smaller otherwise the plastic will get in the way of your 3mm fasteners.Would be cheaper from China, but these are 2 days away with prime and returnable. 4/5 for me simply on pricepoint.

Perfectly fine, no thrills hardware.
These did what they needed to do. It would be nice if they had a slight taper to help with alignment since one was misaligned during installation and I had to print out a new part.

They got it half right
I hate three star reviews because I feel like they don't help at all putting the product in the good or bad category. However, I really have no choice with this one. Half of the pieces I got were perfect. The other half would not accept the bolts without forcing them in (essentially tapping the threads with the bolt). I only needed about 25 of them, so this didn't end up being a real problem for me. But if you need all these pieces for your project, I imagine you will probably run into issues. You can rethread them with a bolt because the brass is much softer than steel, but such things should not be necessary.

Great quality and great price.
The inserts are made out good quality brass and the machining is clean. They work great in my 3D prints. My order came with 126 inserts. Bonus!
