Folding the cash in thirds minimizes the thickness compared to folding it in half twice. I don't use cash often but I like to carry some just in case I need it. **Q: Why does it cost so much? I swear this thing cost no more than 50¢ to make** A: You're paying for the lightweight and compact "design" (referencing the 2 card slot version). There are other compact and light wallets on the market made out of paper thin material (Tyvek) that sell for nearly twice the price but are of lower quality than this wallet. **Q: Is it cowhide** A: The card sleeve is made with a thin elastic fabric. It is a polyester - spandex blend. **Q: Looking to use this as a cash strap on a metal case I have, but need to cut off the bottom. Think that's doable?
