I have the tendency to go on and on in reviews so I will try to make this quick. The bits: Not the half@$$ed chrome I expected, but a nice sandblasted finish. Bits seem harder than I expect for such an inexpensive tool. The handle: It’s two pieces of punched sheet metal with a black painted finish. The sides are made of plastic. There are no sharp edges or burrs. The metal plates are kept spaces by a rivet at the end and at the pawl to serve as the pivot. The ratchet mechanism: The pawl is punched sheet metal with a rough chrome finish. The spring and detention for the pawl are housed in the handle itself. Selecting direction is easy, smooth, and positive. The bit holder and ratchet gear look to be cast and plated. The gear teeth have no burrs or rounded over edges. Bit holding is not by magnetism like I read in an answered questioned but by a small hairspring wound around the racket with the end serving as a crude detent. It all out of the way and can only be seen through the small crack between the ratchet and the front plate. There is a flange on the back to keep the bit from pushing through entirely. Overall very well made for the purpose and price. Yes, it could have had the punched edges smoothed out, but since it has no bearing on performance, it makes since to omit it to keep cost down. Overall a great tool for your pocket or, like me, and small tool bag to keep in my desk at the office. Would recommend.

Gets into tight areas and works well because of ratchet

It has come in so handy for assembling furniture. The only reason why I didn't get it 5 Stars is because the little switch that allows the tool to rotate clockwise/counter clockwise is easily pressed unintentionally while using it to tighten/loosen a screw. Otherwise, it is extremely easy and fun to use and is so much better than using a screw driver/hex tool. For the tight/hard to fit places, my Ryobi drill can't get it done but this tool does. I have small hands as I'm only 5' 1". It might not fit well for larger/taller people. However, when comparing it to a universal hex tool, it's still much better. I used this with my multibit set I bought from Harbor Freight. So, I'm a very happy camper. The tool is sleek, light weight, and overall feels natural. I have over 20 years experience of DIY and assembling furniture. I'm not an expert or professional, but also not the novice handyman. I'd highly recommend this for anyone because it's very practical, straight forward, and saves a good amount of time.

I needed to tighten several screws on door hardware that had very tight access. I couldn't find the offset screwdrivers that I normally used. I received these the very next day and took care of the door hardware I installed. The ratchet made the job go quickly and smoothly. Great purchase.

This is a perfect addition to my tool bag for work. I can use it on any 1/4 hex bit for getting into hard to reach or tight areas. With the 1/4 hex bit drive, I can use it with long screw bits, nut drivers, etc. Good quality and value for the money. Even bought a few to give away as gifts for techs.

Feels sturdy and holds the bit in place well. The switch for the ratchet direction is right where I grip so it switches the direction often which is annoying, and the ratchet distance is pretty big.

I ordered the NEIKO 1/4" mini ratchet driver set to use in tight confined spaces, and this is exactly what I needed. The ratchet action is tight,, and it is very easy to flip directions on the go with just the thumb. The drives bits stay in the socket pocket and don't fall out like a lot of other 1/4" drivers I have.
