I adore this thing. It's unique andeasy to use/light.Extremely sturdy/well made.Keeps a mug of tea/coffee warm. (I'm not sure it would keep an entire pot, as shown in the picture.)Best of all - it adds an air of mystery to my kitchen. I put a ceramic HarryPotter mug that looks like a cauldron on it and it makes me soo happy to use/light. Sometimes, in those RARE instances that I'm not in the mood for tea, I put water and a few drops of essential oils on this and use it as a room/scent diffuser. Works perfectly!I've already bought this as a gift for a friend who complimented it and makes her own potpourri.

I had purchased this cast-iron warmer with the intention not to keep a tea pot hot but instead to keep a hot dip hot at the table. Hot dips are baked in the oven and then brought out to the table to serve. I wanted to keep a mini casserole dish hot on this warmer. And it totally fits the bill! I had taken the measurements in consideration to make sure my dishes would sit flat and be stable - that’s why I ended up buying the square one instead of the round. I bough smokeless tea lights to use but I have not as yet put it to actual use yet. I hope the tea light won’t cause a hotspot and crack my dishes!!The warmer is pretty hefty in weight so sits sturdily on the table. The finish is attractive and smooth. I’m very happy with the warmer - now just to see how it works keeping my crab dip hot!
