Some instructions would have been nice, but there are plenty "how to" instructions for it on YouTube. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It’s a great buy . *by G***S on March 8, 2026* Ok so I bought this to install on a Jackson js22, you heard it right. Yes I made it work keep reading and you’ll understand about the product and process. So I mounted over the top so no routing is possible and works great as dive bomb only . You have to shim the neck and the locking nut . Now the product review. The bridge itself seems great , the locking nut better than one I bought from a different brand and paid more and stripped all the screws . This one is holding so far no complaints. The bridge is running properly. You do not need a string retainer for the js22. Now the tremolo arm or whammy bar is garbage. It bends easily inside the socket be careful or you’ll ruin the entire thing because of the bar . The reason? Because in order to make the double lock work you need to crank up the string pressure high tension so it returns to flat position keeping the tune unchanged. So I’m using the original js22 whammy bar instead since it’s better metal . For this price it’s totally worth buying it . Oh there is another big issue during installation. The studs that comes with it , I drilled new holes bu used the original Jackson js22 since the threads are the same , either way ended up using the same screws since the ones that came they do not hold the bridge with spring tension so don’t throw your hardware out and don’t install the ones that comes with this Floyd. You need the space for a safe hole close to the original hole and if you drill a bigger hole for the new studs you will regret. Final I’m happy it’s working and in tune . I might buy another one just to keep as replacement if anything happens in the long run.
