Who Was Charlie Chaplin? Paperback – Illustrated, December 6, 2016

I love this series and buy them all. I always learn something, and it's great for kids. I have them read the relevant books before any trips we take (we went to Boston, so we read all of the books in this series on the Founding Fathers and Revolutionary War before we went and did the Freedom Trail). I taught my children's classrooms a lesson about Charlie Chaplain and showed them some of his videos, then brought costumes and silent film scores and had them create their own. This book is a great source of information.

I'm a huge fan of Chaplin and have read nearly every book ever written about him. Although this title is geared for a younger audience, I highlyrecommend it for any fan at any age. It touches on his childhood spent in poverty and how he rose to become the greatest celebrity of all time.There are wonderful illustrations throughout too. A great, enjoyable book to add to my collection.

My daughter has been wanting to read this book for a few days now.We received it and within one day she was done with it.This is a great series for your kids to learn about famous people in a fun and interesting way.

Simple and extensive information, great book for kids and grown up. We are big fans of Charlie, we enjoyed reading his wonderful life, the last chapter brought us to tears.

His book was very descriptive. It was very easy to find facts or important details. It was a very good book
