Cressi Adult Diving Dry Snorkel with Splash Guard and Top Valve - Supernova Dry: Designed in Italy

Very convenient snorkel, well made, and lasts a long time. Cannot believe I bought mine 8 years ago! Just used it yesterday for more lake snorkeling, as I do every summer + took it on a couple trips to Hawai over the years. It lets you dive and upon resurfacing you just breathe out fast to expel the water. Soft clear plastic part did turn yellow over time, but the thing still works like new, membrane never leaks, etc.

After renting gear for years and always being disappointed, I finally decided to buy my own. This snorkel is great. Super comfortable, super easy to clear. I have never had to empty it in the middle of the water and it doesn’t fill up with water when it gets splashed or when I dive. Just blowing out hard clears it easily. Fantastic and lives up to the reviews.

Used this in the Caribbean for snorkeling instead of using one of the rentable ones and it worked great. Was very comfortable connected to my face mask. Prevented water from getting into the mouth piece. Construction seemed high quality and didn't feel cheap like some other snorkles. Definitely wash it before your trip... Maybe a few times to make sure there's no chemical taste or smell.

Only used for 3 days so far. Worked well. Kept water out. I dropped it in the surf and got a bit of sand stuck in the valve that keeps water out. After a minute or two I was able to get the pebble out and it worked great again.

I tried these in the pool right after buying them, but the buckle does not click into the clip the way it is intended to, and so it took me quite a long time to get the mask and snorkel to stay together at all. I think the snorkel is really nice. I've been using a snorkel now for about 1 1/2 years, and I can tell a big difference in quality with the Cressi brand. It's very nice. I have contacted the seller regarding the buckle/clip issue, and I'll let you know if they respond.They replied to me immediately, and showed me with a picture what I was doing wrong. I misunderstood how to put the snorkel and mask together using the clip provided. I'm very satisfied with their response, and recommend this snorkel to anyone. It's very comfortable, and I feel like I'm breathing much easier with it.

My original snorkel wasn't working properly so I purchased this instead. I was having problems with the check valve and kept getting water inside the snorkel. I just got done using this on a trip to the grand caymans and it worked excellent. The install on the goggles is super easy and the snorkel worked great. The clip to remove the snorkel from the goggles is super easy and quick. I used it multiple times to go diving instead of snorkeling and clipping/unclipping the snorkel was very easy.

The glasses were light weight and comfortable. The lenses were dark enough to block the sun rays but not the print on my book pages. Great buy Great looks

This is the second Cressi snorkel I have purchased and am now reviewing. I am only submitting this review now, several months after my purchase, because I did not have the opportunity to try it out until just now. I am happy to report that for me, this less expensive snorkel in the Cressi line, actually works better. I used it under various conditions over several days recently, and not once did I have the water intrusion problem that I had with the "better" Cressi snorkel. (To be fair, my wife is still using the better model, and she did not have the issues I had.)This Cressi Supernova snorkel works as a good snorkel should. The detachable clip makes it easy to attach and detach it from your snorkel mask. It simply does not allow water in while you are snorkeling. You can free-dive with it, and when you surface there is not water that needs to be cleared, or at least there wasn't for me the few times I free-dove with it. Lo he usado en agua salada y dulce, es muy fácil enjuagarlo y la calidad del plástico es muy buena. Es cómodo usarlo.
