EasySteps Women's Canvas Lace Up Shoes with Padded Insole, Neon Green, US Women's 9 B(M) US

I bought these because I needed all black shoes for an event. My grommets were silver and everything else was black. There were no rips, tears, or smudges when my shoes arrived. For the price and since I only needed them for one event, I was satisfied with my purchase however there are some warnings for future buyers. The sole of the shoe is very thin. If you have flat feet or insoles you will be fine. However, my feet hurt after wearing these shoes all day. Also there's a cloth bottom attached to the rubber that rips off as you wear them. (Picture included) My first few days I was leaving little black scraps everywhere I walked. Since the sole is so thin, I predict these shoes won't last over a year. After wearing for a few months, the insert inside the shoe has become detached from the shoe base. To me this just means it's a cheaper shoe and won't last much longer.I previously owned canvas sneakers by Mossimo Supply Co. from Target. Those shoes were anywhere from $5 - $15 more expensive than Easy USA. The sole is thicker and lasts longer. Mine lasted a little less than two years with heavy wear and tear. All in all, I would probably purchase the Mossimo shoes over Easy USA because the sole is too thin for me.

I am puzzled why so many reviews spoke of "no arch support." That's sort of like saying flip flops have no arch support - does anyone really expect it? I am pleased by the quality, given the under-seven dollars I paid. They are just what I'd expect from simple, knock-around sneakers. Oh sorry, "canvas lace-up flats!" The comments on sizing made me nervous but I ordered my size, 8.5, and they fit fine. If it helps anyone, the sole measures 10" on the bottom. I can't wait to start wearing these in spring! They are so cute.Update: A bizarrely warm Feb day gave me the opportunity to wear these. I was comfortable and they looked great! Yes, I could kind of feel the pavement through them but I don't expect otherwise and admittedly going so quickly from thick-soled winter boots & shoes to these overnight made the thinner sole more obvious by contrast.UPDATE Feb 2018: I wore these several times in 2017 and the soles look bad. The last two photos I'm adding now show their current state. I expect to maybe get one more season out of them only. As you'll see in the photos the minimal "tread" has worn off both front & back of the shoe and experience tells me this makes shoes a lot more hazardous so far as slipping around on particular surfaces likes tile or marble floors. I DO think they should have lasted longer and nicking a star.

I dearly wished I could've worn these lovely sneakers. They seem to be made well, sewing is very clean, canvas and print is nice and they're inexpensive (11.99), BUT the sole feels even thinner than it looks, as in nonexistent. The insole is not 'padded' as title description claims, it is the bare minimum. It is literally the same exact thickness you would get in a cheap insole at the dollar store with nothing underneath except the rubber bottom sole. There is absolutely no support or arch. Nothing for comfort. If you like sneakers that feel like walking barefoot then you'd love these. I had thought to add my own insole in them to give them a tiny bit of cushion and arch to wear casually about town, but unfortunately the height of the toe box is so slim/short there isn't room - not even for the thinnest of inserts (see photos), so sadly, I had to return them. I usually wear a 7 in sandals, 7.5 in shoes and 7.5-8 in sneakers. I ordered an 8 and they fit perfect except for above issues. The width felt medium, not too tight or too wide, I am a medium in one foot & slightly wider in the other with somewhat narrow heels and these fit nicely. If you wear a half size, go up not down. One other thing to note, there are these strange plugs on the soles that look like they might come out easily (see photo). Hope this helps, it's so hard to pick shoes online - I know I rely heavily on the reviews to aid in my decision making (that and of course, free returns!).

Great for the price! Just the same as the ones you'd find in a chain store but for a much better price. They're obviously fashion sneakers, they don't offer much support, but I don't think most people will be expecting that for less than $10. I personally find them super comfy for casual day to day wear though! Some very similar shoes sometimes have a thicker sole, these are the thinner variety which is exactly what I was looking for as I think they're more flattering that way. Just thought I'd mention that as I had trouble telling whether they were or not when browsing all the similar listings.I've ordered this style of shoe in the past and usually found them to run slightly small. I am normally a 5.5, ordered a 6 in these, and they were a little too big (although definitely still wearable) - basically how a size 6 would normally fit my 5.5 foot, so true to size in my opinion, not small like other shoes like this have been for me in the past.Had these for awhile now and they seem to be holding up well.

There’s this small stain/discoloration in the front that I can’t stand. Plus.. I wanted this to be very white and these shoes have a slight tan color.. still white, just not a pure white color. It looks almost like white shoes that’s been worn a couple of times and don’t look as white anymore. At least to me it looks that way... sorry but the shoes came on time and all else was fine. Just a color issue for me.
