Review: Beautiful and Elegant - These are nice drop ceiling tiles. The 3D aspect is very cool. They were easy to cut with some sharp scissors and razor blades. The material seems durable and flexible. They are very light weight, yet strong enough to hold a light weight LED light in them. I definitely recommend as they are a good bang for your buck vs standard tiles at the big box stores.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this be installed using a brad nailer? We need to cover our ugly popcorn ceiling so glue isn't an option.**
A: NO WAY should you use any kind of nails or staples to attach these tiles, as you will see every single one of them. They MUST be glued! If you have popcorn ceilings, buy or borrow a simple garden sprayer (offen sold for under $20). Put down plastic or a tarp over your counter, furniture and floors directly below the popcorn ceiling. Fill the sprayer with water and spray the popcorn until it is soft and use a wide blade drywall trowel (at least 12" wide), and scrape the popcorn, letting it drop onto the plastic covering. It will come off easily and you don't have to be a perfectionist...just remove all of it down to the original drywall. Let the drywall dry out overnight. Then you have a relatively smooth surface and you can apply some type of adhesive (usuall comes in a tube that fits a cauokling gun... ask the people in the paint deprtment at your local hardware or big box store for the best adhesive for these PVC tiles. Then you need to plan in advance how yuo want to install the pieces. Use chalk lines as guides, start at the center of the room and work outwards towards the walls, considering recessed lights, chandeliers, etc. When your tiles end at the walls, you have to cut those tiles to fit whatever gap is left. If it's ;ess tha 1/2 tile, re-calculate your starting point. When you got it figured out, ONLY THEN should you start setting them! I could go on, but there are plenty of YouTube videos that how how to do this.

**Q: What type of adhesive glue is recommended for these?**
A: Hi there, heavy duty constructive glue would be recommended.
Sincerely,

**Q: do they help with sound dampening ?**
A: So mine are on the ceiling and I haven't noticed a noise issue, but I will say.....these tiles are thin plastic and have some space behind them where you could easily place a sound dampening felt pad down and then lay this tile over the top of that felt pad for a nice esthetic look. The doubling up of the two would really block the noise in my opinion and it wouldn't take much more time or effort to install.....

**Q: can you put these panel on the wall?**
A: If I put them on the wall, would they just look like cheap plastic?

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice looking, no damage. Fast shipping..

They actually look good on my ceiling. While trying to decide on a couple different products, I folded up a piece of painters tape for each corner and stuck one up. It stayed up. (As did the foam square tiles I bought.) (The styrofoam ones went back becaused they looked like a textured Styrofoam cup. These tiles are rigid and are really nice looking. My only issue was static. My dog is currently shedding and his hair stuck to them like crazy. So after they went up I sprayed some static spray on them and wiped them down. Cand decide if I'll paint them. Also....there is actually a right way and a wrong way to put them up .. (even thought they are square) However.....if you take them out of the box, always open the box the same... (however you do it) from the top or bottom. Just do it the same. I pulled them out upside down and they stayed the same.....except my first box because i didnt realize they needed to go up the same way. So what worked for me was to apply the glue with the top of the tile getting a little line of glue, and everywhere else getting dots of glue. So if it got set down or got moved etc., I knew which way to put it up. (All the tiles that had the side with the line, went the same way) it worked great. I used good scissors and occasionally had to bring one back down to cut more, but the line of now squished glue showed me which direction to reapply it. Just like everything thing you do to your home......take your time. I did it alone so I'd apply glue to several then take one up then back down for another and so on. I used locktite and it held them great. I pushed on the areas with glue (create a pattern. So you know where to press. Not one sagged or fell. Happy DIYing As for the foam vs. pvc comparison, definitely choose a rigid product
