Lots of great patterns and lots of mediocre, but you expect that in a collection of 300. The great ones are really good. I bought it for the crosses, but there are several others I'm looking forward to cutting, as well.

I had hoped for more detail in the patterns. They are only simple outline drawings for the most part without specifics as to wood grain direction. Of course these are easy enough to figure out for yourself but for the cost of this book I would rather have spent my money elsewhere.

This is an awesome book filled with great scroll saw patterns. It is a must for anyone wanting to do scroll saw work. There are projects for the beginner and for the skilled.

My wife and I carve eggs, and engrave glass and wood. The patterns in this great collection are adaptable to whatever you work with! Super collection, and easy to use!! This book is a great creative idea starter for us to come up with our own designs. Oh yeah, I'll probably use some on the scroll saw as well!

Lots of great patterns for scroll sawing. I am a beginner and this has lots of patterns from big to small and easy to difficult.

This book contained many different types of patterns and was just as it was described. I have already made several of the patterns, including the cross pictured on the cover. I highly recommend it.

The book is a great purchase for beginners, but don't expect that all 300 patterns are meaty or even probable projects. I would have preferred fewer variations of basic patterns with more variation in skill level.
