Ordered for child for Christmas. They were able to put together by themselves (10yr) but the head of wooly mammoth came broken. There is not a great way to fix this and make it movable still.

I bought three sets and all three came with figures that don't work. In all three packages, the polar bear's back legs don't move, which they should. One black bear's back legs don't move at all, the second black bear can only move one back leg, and the third black bear can move both, so two are defective. One mammoth arrived with one tusk missing and another mammoth has the tusks loose and doesn't stay in place.I would still buy this item because back legs moving or not moving doesn't bother me, but it does bother my three children. My child is the most upset about a missing tusk. I want to love this item because the concept of these figures are perfect for kids, but it's not worth it as a gift for birthdays or Christmas, unless the receiver is aware of the possible defects or missing piece(s).I tried to return item to get replacements, but it's no longer available. I still could return, but my children wouldn't get replacements. Plus, I'd be rolling the dice for which new figures wouldn't work properly or be missing a piece or pieces. We decided to keep because Amazon was wonderful and helped with this situation. Thank, you, Amazon!
