Good sampler
I am most certainly not a tea expert. My loose leaves experience coming only from Octavia and Republic of Tea. I wanted to try more variety and this sampler seems like a good choice. FYI, I don't like herbal or chai tea.The loose leaves tea comes in 6 nice tin cans and the box it comes in is very nice also. I purposely tried each tea over the last few days so that I can write a review promptly. The only one I didn't like was the Scented Black Tea (Souchong). Did not like the smell upon opening the can and was hoping the tea won't taste like it, but it does. The green tea I find to be slightly weak. I do the 1 tsp of leaves per 6 oz water ratio and brew it for 3 min. I am going to play around with the leaves to water ratio and brew time in the future. The black tea with the same ratio and a brew time of 5 min came out perfect for me.Will definitely try different sampler in the future but won't buy this one again since I didn't like one of them.

Strong & bold
This was bought as a gift for my boss, who is a tea lover. The teas are all strong, bold flavors and represent teas thrown into the Boston harbor. If you are a tea connisouir then these teas are worth trying. If you do not like loose leaf tea, do not get these. This loose leaf tea does allow for control over the brew strength and tells how long to brew for each tea.

DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING
Nowhere in the description were unwary customers warned that they would be receiving tiny one-ounce tins of each tea, a minuscule amount in comparison to the ‘half-cup’ amount they were led to believe. For the record, one-half of a cup equals 4 oz. Why the dissimulation? Just be honest and state the exact content up front. This purchase is a big disappointment. As regards the product itself, the overall quality is middling: some samples such as the Congou and Lapsang Souchong are quite satisfying, whereas the YunWu Cloud Mist in particular was lackluster and insipid. For novice tea drinkers with little or no experience this sample kit might be an attractive introduction.

good choices
Haven't tried them all yet but loved the ones I did. Great way to explore without buying quantity.

Fun and interesting set, great flavors!
This set is great, I have had such a great experience so far with making myself tea daily and being able to read a little history behind the tea while brewing it. Some flavors I am more fond of then others and that’s another thing I find so great about this set, the one flavor I wasn’t very keen on actually stated in the literature that it was not the most popular flavor out of the teas during the Boston tea party. Great product!

Husband is raving about this sampler!
I purchased this a Valentine's gift for my husband. He likes history and enjoys loose tea, particularly black and green tea. He's not a fan of herbal or fruit infused teas, and this sampler doesn't contain those. My husband started with Congfu black which he liked a lot. Then opened another tin, Singlo I believe. He wasn't planning to open another tin so it didn't get exposed to air too much, but the next morning, he couldn't resist and opened the Souchong. This is his favorite so far! He says it reminds him of his childhood, of pine needle fires among other things. He still opened the Hyson green next which he enjoyed a lot. For every one he tried, he told me the history of it and let me taste it. I've enjoyed each one as well. Some of the flavors vary from your common black and green teas. None so far are unpleasant but I like a departure from the usual and am fairly open minded about food and drink. In short, I highly recommend this sampler, particularly if you enjoy traditional black, green, and oolong teas that are flavorful but not fruity. One downside was an Amazon inventory sticker on top. I was able to remove most of it but would have preferred it to be in a less conspicuous spot. I didn't count this in rating the product because it's probably standard placement for those.

Cool idea
5 of 6 were really good. You get 3 different levels of caffeine, which is nice. Lapsing Souching black tea is really "smokey"?
