If it's not CanCor, they aren't interested
I first found this cat you when it was part of Go! Cat's 'da ball' toy. It was a favorite of one of my girls and I had 2 of them for over 8 years. Then 3 years ago I got kittens, and they are obsessed with this specific ball. The first time Drax encountered it, he picked it up in his mouth and started growling, brought it under the bed, and then I heard this weird crunching noise... Both he and his sister will chew on them until they are felted little lumps. I don't know why. When they went in for their check up this year, their vet was blown away by how perfectly healthy and clean their teeth are, saying that people who brush their cats' teeth don't get them this clean. I told her it's because they chew on these things. They only like this brand. I don't know what these are made of (maybe felting wool based on how they essentially felt them with their teeth?), but no other puff ball interests them. They don't just chew on them though. One of my cats will bring one up on the bed, bat it around on my legs until he knocks it off, dash after it to catch it, jump back up on the bed with it, and repeat until I get up. He'll chase them around the kitchen, drop one in his food bowl while eating, hide them around the house to find later... Its adorable really.

These are great cat toys
My cat Kokothemiraclecat loves this toy but he always wants a fresh one! He was born with half a brain ( he is the grey cat) His first family accidentally stepped on him when he was two months old and broke his jaw and had some skull issues as well, No one knew he was born with half a brain. He was having seizures due to his injuries and the people said to put him down. Luckily the vet had a shelter and she rehabbed him . I had a month off work so was looking to volunteer and offered to redo their website. But when I came to retake photos they asked me to wash cats which later I learned had ringworm. Koko was one of them. He was in bad shape and he clearly needed out of the crowded loud shelter , even though I had not yet taken my sabbatical we went and got him . We took him to neuro who ran an mri who said he had never seen it before but luckily I am friends with an epileptic neurosurgeon at UCSF who had my first cats sons. He said itโs a virus that attacks in the womb in animals and humans. We were told he wouldnโt live past 4 but he will be 16 this year. We feed him about 5 x a day wet food and sometimes fresh raw chicken or in m out burger. Gerber baby food. A bit of coconut oil like 1/4 tsp to help detox the phenobarbital seizure meds he is on. He is blind in one eye due to the half brain . He does everything a normal cat does. This toy is great for cats who have trouble seeing cause it makes noise when you squeeze it and then throw it easier for them to find. His jaw healed a little off so this toy is good for small mouths and he loves to carry it around. I advise to get at least the 12 pack because these get easily lost under the sofa and pick up dust easy. They are made in Canada which I love! I wonโt purchase toys made in China. I make crochet toys and sew toys myself where my products are all made in the USA . I cat sit and bring these toys for the cats I cat sit . They always enjoy their new toys.

My catโs favorite toy by far
These are great! I wish they were a bit cheaper but theyโre really good quality materials so I get it. My cat is obsessed with these. He doesnโt play with any other toys as much as these, not even close. Heโs entertained all day with these, and he loves batting them around and playing fetch. They donโt really bounce, but they roll super well. Theyโre not too noisy, but they crinkle enough for my cat to hear it roll across the room.

Fun fetch crinkle balls!
Our cat loves these! She comes running when she hears the crinkle. She loves to play fetch with these colorful balls. A little expensive but worth it for us.

May cause too much excitement -- Really
I have had these smaller sized crinkle balls over the years and several of my cats have LOVED them: play fetch, carry them around in their mouths, dunk them in water bowl, etc. There has been a crinkle ball in my household for at least 10 years. Sometimes it disappears but ultimately is found again. It has been a favorite of my little kitties. This most recent purchase, please read this with some humor and also a bit of caution. Everything turned out OK in the end. So, I got this package of crinkle balls because I thought my cats might enjoy a "fresh" one, plus I had just moved so thought it was appropriate -- a fresh start. I got one of the new balls out and tossed it to the cat who really loves it. He went ballistic and was all over the place -- seriously it was like kitty crack. He, of course, got it under something so I got it out and threw it up the stairs -- now this new house has a staircase that is open to the foyer, not surrounded by walls. He continued to be wound up and I threw the ball to the top (2nd story) and he was up there playing like crazy, on his back, tossing it up, etc. Well, this is when things went south. He tossed the ball and it went through the banister into the open foyer and he went right after it. I screamed because I knew he did not realize what he was doing; it was just a reaction: follow crinkle ball. He ended up partially hitting the dresser in the foyer before landing on the floor. He took off and hid and we were very worried. He eventually came out and it took a couple of days for him to even want to come downstairs again. He did not seem to have any injuries but he did break off a part of one of his teeth. We felt so horrible. Anyway, he is fine. He went over to that crinkle ball (the culprit), smelled it and took off running. So, I have put it away thinking that we'll give it a break and maybe he'll forget about the traumatic experience. I will bring it out in a while. So, I love the crinkle balls but I would say be cautious of where you play with your cat. Literally, I think this situation could have happened with any toy but he LOVES crinkle balls & they're hard to find like this so I think he was just so excited about this new one that he just went crazy. Not his fault at all. His old crinkle ball is still around but it has lost some crinkle over the years so I think this new one was just too much for him to contain himself. Truly, this is a good product. Gabriel & I have learned we just may need to contain the areas we play with the crinkle ball.

The best cat toy I've found to date
WARNING!!!: I re ordered these and the second time I got FAKE copy cat products, not genuine Cancor crinkle balls! These are not made in Canada, and judging from the resealable bag and lack of Cancor label, they are probably imported chinese knock offs. They are less crinkly, inferior material and come apart more easily and become a choking hazard for your cats! Do not buy these unless they are the genuine Cancor crinkle balls! You are taking a risk if you cannot tell the difference! Original review: Both my cats love these toys. They are a bit light, so when playing fetch I can't throw them super far, but itโs far enough to get them to get some exercise. They love to proudly carry them around, and bat them around the floor and chase them. When it comes to value, itโs much better to buy this bulk pack instead of paying the 3 dollars at the pet store (crazy!). The only better value toy are bulk plastic springs, but these crinkle balls are substantially quieter at night when being chased across hardwood floors.

Rip off - not as advertised
This was advertised as being a crinkle toy that contains foil. It is just a pom pom and I could have bought pom poms for a much lower price. My cat specifically likes toys thar make a crinkle sound and so these are completely useless to me and a waste of money. Do not buy unless you want a very expensive pom pom.

False advertising
Advertised as having foil in but there is no such foil very poor for the expensive price point.

Make sure you order the real ones! Pet Supplies Canada has the real pack for around $17
You get what you pay for! I ordered these back in the fall and my cats LOVE them. Then I ordered them again in the spring, and didn't get the same ones- the 'new' ones were much larger, more classic rainbow colored (not that color matters, but figured I would mention it. See photo attached for what they should look like.) and they tore apart easier. The cats also didn't seem to like them nearly as much. I sent them back, ordered from the same seller as in the fall, and sadly they sent a 4 pack! Sent those back, and finally sent a message to the seller "Pet Supplies Canada" who confirmed they have the proper ones. Sure enough, the did, and the cats are so happy! The package from that seller looked just like the photo above. The mini crinkle balls are only about an inch or so round and fairly dense, they really don't pull apart at all either. I'm sure my cats will lose them all again in 6 months, I am going to find a crazy crinkle ball stash in the basement somewhere eventually. Make sure you buy from a good seller as the rip off ones are just that- a rip off!
