Brilliant device. Ideal for steaming new potatoes, asparagus, or other veg in a microwave. It’s ideal for two people but there’s usually enough space for four. Just have to be a bit careful when taking the lid off as steam will escape from the gap - so keep it away from your fingers. I put it in the top shelf of the dishwasher and it looks like new.

We love this item super easy and affordable! Can hold quite alot although if you are prepping all your veg for a family this wouldn't be big enough as it held 8 broccoli florets, plenty big enough for 2 and worked perfectly.

Works well

Absoutely brilliant for one or two people, holds more than you would think and works perfectly ! Food steamed in it tastes so much better than anything cooked by the more "traditional" method of boiling . Very easy to use and easy to clean , excellent value !

A little bit disappointing, would have liked a bit more space at the bottom for water. I did the measurements but looks smaller in real life. I’ll give it ago and see if it’s up to scratch! After using this a few times now. I thought I would need more water in the bottom! But using the required amount was ample. Very impressive.

Its OK and contrary to some of the critical reviews, it is a steamer. Water up to thee bottom of the slotted tray and open the vent. It boils the water which steams the veg - simples. But it does get very hot and its difficult to get the veg out once cooked. I cooked a Jersey Royal potato in it in 6 mins but it went an odd grey colour with a few minutes. But have a ever cooked new potato's in a microwave before? No I haven't

I've used this steamer for the first time today and have been delighted with the results! A mixture of sprouts, cauliflower. broccoli, carrots and green beans, all steamed perfectly in a 900w microwave for 5 minutes - so much quicker than using a mains steamer, more economical to use as a result and the vegetables tasted as good. A quick wash was all it took to be ready for the next use.

I didn’t want a huge 2 or 3 tiered machine taking up counter space or cupboard space. I wanted something simple and this is exactly that. A little water, and 1-2 minute bursts in the microwave and you have perfectly steamed veg. So much easier than faffing around with expensive machines or getting soggy veg from a pan of boiling water.

Buon prodotto, un po’ caro ma la plastica è di buona qualità e sembra resistere bene al calore della cottura. Lavabile interamente in lavastoviglie. Lo uso anche per cuocere il riso e finora nessun problema.
