These Skylight Blinds Will save on our AC bill in our short-term rental while still having beautiful natural light! The option to open and close manually is great and done with ease with our ordered pole.Installation was a little longer for the first skylight, just as we prepared and had a learning curve. Went quickly and at ease for the next two. 30 minutes max for each. Great product!

Made to order perfectly sized. Installation was relatively easy. Keeps the harsh sunlight out and helps with keeping the house cool. The price was reasonable and the work great.

The media could not be loaded. Upon receiving this package (all the way from China) I was skeptical because of the lightweight materials and directions. Anyone who ordered or looked at the price of this customized product probably was shocked. All in all, the shade is effective and designed okay enough to block to light. The materials could be more substantial but it really is totally light blocking, other than the little sides where there may or may not be cracks of light due to sizing issues. Assembly is quite easy but the directions are pretty lousy and general. Just sit on the ground or a flat surface with it and you'll figure it out. One thing I will say is the ease of the sliding shade part is smooth, making you think no one will yank on it too hard, causing it to break. We're really quite happy with these but wish they weren't so pricey and find them all in all overpriced.

After struggling to find similar products that cost way... too much, I decided to give these a shot. They aren't built exceptionally well but they don't need to be, it's a simple product and it's extremely easy to install, still more expensive than what I think it should be but it's much cheaper than the other options. Makes sleeping for night shift much easier as they block out alot of light. Definitely recommend them for those looking for this type of product.

I am a stickler for blackout actually being blackout. I’ve tried SO many different solutions for blacking out my kids windows, from blackout curtains, to cardboard on the windows, to portable ones, to even hanging my clothes over the curtain rods to block out the bits of light coming in. But FINALLY I have found a solution that not only works but looks nice (and as though I have my sanity intact!) They’re also easy to install. I have just ordered a second pair for another room in my house. I’m so impressed. The cherry on top was they arrived 2 days before the delivery window they gave me. Highly recommend!

Easy install, wish we would've done this years ago

Its a shame. I ordered this shade for a new Skylight being installed. There was a delay with the skylight of course but not a problem as I had to wait on this shade. The shade arrived in great condition and prior to the skylight to my surprise. Well we finally installed the skylight and completed the renovation. Just tried to install the shade. Its 6 inches too short in the width. I missed the return date by 4 days and now stuck with a shade that doesn't work.

This skylight shade is great! We were worried about finding a shade as we have a larger, custom sized skylight in our guest bedroom and were sick of it always being so bright and hot in there! Ordered this one and the process was super easy. We measured and the shade that came in fits perfectly. It also blocks out a decent amount of light, although not "blackout." The only thing I would change is the corner pieces, they work to make the skylight look more finished however the plastic is pretty thin so with the shade closed on a sunny day, more light comes through the corners. Not a huge deal, just probably could be remedied with thicker plastic or for DIY just put some duct tape on the back of those pieces. Wish we would have known in advance. Otherwise, good product for a decent price (cheaper than custom options at Home Depot). The shipping took a while but wasn't too bad, maybe a few weeks. Might buy a couple more for the other skylights around the house. :) Thanks!
