PERFECT MOUSE
Previous mouse purchased was a few years old and despite being wireless still needed wired charge. Cable split and bare wire visible so thought time for a change. This mouse was purchased after reviewing a load and glad i made this choice.Simple plug in and use for wireless end of things and batteries keep if charged.Perfect weight, ergonomically very comfortable in hand and loads of handy control buttons - see description. Also received email for follow up warranty which surprised me.Again very happy with purchase

!nitiate a moveable cursor on screen by pressing down firmly on the scroll wheel. (Once)
As always with Amazon delivery was prompt and the merchandise well packaged so I got the goods okay.I like the new mouse. It's elegant and very functional. In fact it's a lot like my old mouse! The detail ofincorporating a light so that the user knows in advance when the batteries are about to expire is a nice finesse. Sometimes when the PC has finished booting there is no mobile cursor visible on screen but by experimenting I have come to realize that if you just push down once on the scroll-wheel until you hear a click the cursor will immediately initialise and will remain onscreen for the rest of the session.I like the fact that you can dispense entirely with the mouse mat since this mouse runs acceptably on the smooth wood of my desktop! This frees up space and the other boon is that I am not constantly adjusting the position of the mouse mat on the desktop! I agree with another reviewer who said that the tiddlyness of the switch on the bottom that allows you to choose between 'off', 'Bluetooth' and USB Dongle mode is really irritating and makes me understand why another user said that he had broken this switch because it is so weak! My older mouse had a more robust switch and this is the only thing that I find myself disliking about this mouse and is why I have given it 4 rather than 5 stars. I look forward to as long a life with this mouse as I had with its predecessor!

Sensational!!!
Okay, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration, but it's a really good mouse for just shy of a tenner. Not totally silent but not too loud either; it's rather quiet. Loud mice are a pet peeve of mine, and whilst this isn't as quite as my almost silent Ugreen 2.4ghz wireless mouse that almost looks identical (but costs more) it's not far off at all. The middle click is the loudest, but even that is very reasonable. It's the sort of volume where it'll only perhaps annoy someone trying to get to sleep in the same room as you (and they're a light sleeper and really irritable). Other than that the mouse seems top-top, what it says on the tin etc.

Product review
Very good product and all functions work very well. Was very easy to connect with my fire cube. Would recommend this product.

Very impressed for the price
Took a gamble on this over more well known name brands and so far it seems to have paid off.The mouse is comfortable in my medium sized male hands, all the inputs are in places that feel noticeable. The DPI adjustments are in good steps where I feel I can always find the right speed for what I'm doing. The mouse takes 2 aa batteries which gives it a nice weighty feel. I believe it can be used with a single battery too.The connectivity options are Bluetooth of multiple versions and 2.4ghz with an included USB dongle which nests nicely under the battery cover when not in use. I've used both and they've both performed flawlessly. There is a slip inside the package stating this has a 36 month warranty so it seems Tecknet stand behind their product. If I have any issues with it I will update my review.

Noisy buttons
Whilst the wheel is quiet, the top and side buttons are quite noisy - certainly not silent like the UGREEN equivalent. It also feels quite cheap, plasticy and light, but for a tenner....The DPI indicated by the flashes is quite nifty, although I found anything under the 4th setting (2000) to be useless and 6 is too much - same as the UGREEN.Bizarrely the receiver is identified under Linux as:ID 25a7:fa61 Areson Technology Corp Elecom Co., Ltd MR-K013 Multicard Reader [Compx 2.4G Receiver]The forward and back buttons work fine under Debian Sid although with my big hands they seem far too far back to be useful (I'd have to bend my thumb backwards).

Good Value
Nicely shaped and comfortable for medium/large hands. Works well with both my laptops. Only niggle is that it has to be connected to Bluetooth at every re-start if you have turned it off at the end of your last session.
