Quick and easy no wire switching of circuits
Wireless receiver and two switch transmitters to control up to a 10A electrical circuit, this bought to enable a new LED strip light within an existing full glass conservatory room that would be difficult to place new switch wiring due to itโs open construction. The five foot LED batten wall mounted at the height of the conservatory eaves so wiring could be placed out of sight along the top of the wall, the receiver placed within a 35mm deep surface pattress box with blanking plate, this affixed on top of the fusebox so no wiring visible. Both switch transmitters placed adjacent to either entrance door originally using double sided tape but this changed to the two screw fitting provided as unable to support the weight of back box, small replaceable battery and face plate, the face plate just clips into place after fixing with just a slight movement top or bottom for on and off. Fitting complete the light worked without flaw, both switches about 30ft from the receiver and work perfectly, batteries are CR2032 type which are about half height AA batteries and readily available, quick, easy to fit and have already bought a second kit.

Wiring needed more explanation for after configs, but worked great once the receiver is installed
Wiring was very difficult as I'm not an electrical, my current switch didn't have a live and neutral (it had L1 and 2 wires in COM), so I had to Google a lot and do all sorts of trial and error, but got it working in the end (took about 3hours to trying though). Then then one switch wasn't working, and figured out that there was a battery faulty (was giving 0.61v instead of 12v) but I had a spare batter from an old doorbell that I used and worked fine. HOT TIP: i didn't find it clear from the diagram, but the thin rocker (the part you press to use the switch) can be pulled off (with some force) so you can attach the screws properly.

Simple, inexpensive but noisy
Product is simple to install, works extremely well and provided a solution that didn't involve moving two large wardrobes and channeling a wall to relocate a light switch. Loses a star because, instead of operating with a satisfying click, both switches "groan" when operated - a cross between a dodgy floorboard and an arthritic knee. Such a shame - and it can't be lubricated away.

Stopped working after a month
It took me about 2 months to get round to installing this but as you can only return within 1 month that hardly matters. A bit tricky to instal without being visible or going into the loft (in which case I would have wired a 'proper' switch) but I managed. The switches aren't intuitive but have a rocker for top and bottom so push the top for on and the bottom for off but I faffed for a while because pushing in the middle has the same feel. easy once you know but it didn't say anywhere. Worse thing is, it stopped working5 weeks later. I changed the bulb, both switch batteries then went on a hunt to find how to re-synch in case that was the issue. There is nothing here or on the Dewenils' website but I eventually found a video explaining how to 'program'. Still no go so I now have to buy another system in the hope I am luckier elsewhere.

Works perfectly
Works really well and easy to install. Used it for a loft light where the original light switch was placed in an awkward spot. Replaced it with the receiver and put one switch by the loft ladder and the other in airing cupboard. Much easier. Note: despite the description, it does need wiring skills for the receiver so make sure you know what your doing before fitting.

Wireless light switch
So far so good, item was easy to fit and use and works well. Will see how it goes with time. Remote works at a reasonable distance and the item was priced well

Very easy to install, works even when hiding receiver unit inside ceiling attached to room light.
Electrician i got in for a quote to rewire a redundant (dead) light switch advised me that these would NOT work on my setup .......don't always believe the so called experts .....it does ...and saved me over ยฃ200 on his quote for the work that would have been involved in doing it the way HE wanted to.

I know why it was cheap
The switches pull apart to activate or install new batteries. Getting it apart while holding it wasn't easy and I fear would be even more difficult when on the wall. It is held together with some very small plastic lugs which looked far too fragile to survive many goes at removal. I didn't install this partly because the receiver was too big to conceal in either the lamp holder or the switch without some hole hacking but mostly because of doubts over the quality of the switches. Testing the setup with the receiver just wired to the mains and the switches on a worktop showed that the switches were quite hit and miss whether the action was registered. The ones I got were not preregistered so must have been one of the "small number" that weren't mention in the instruction leaflet. I have returned them.
