I printed a bunch of blank checks for use with Quick Books. I don't want to have to couple the two s/w programs together, so I just print blank checks, then print them with QB.I was very annoyed about the limitations of check design. If you want something really fancy look elsewhere. I could not see a way to delete the accounting grid at the lower left where the addressee/remarks usually goes. They offer two window envelopes, which would be of questionable usefulness because of the grid interfering with the addressee. Needless to say I did not buy their envelopes.Checksoft does print usable checks, including the MICR line, which is why I bought it.If you want business size checks, don't get the home version, it only prints wallet size. Amazon should make that clear in the product description.

I got an updated computer, so my Quicken programs didn't work. I needed mostly to print checks. So I got Checksoft.First you have to design checks--so I did. But printing the checks ON THE PAPER THEY RECOMMENED and which I bought doesn't work because the check number--the routing number--prints in the right place only on the first check. but the next two checks on the sheet print the # too low. Also the "design" part is very confusing as to which design you choose.The final straw is that after paying for the software, you have to "renew" it every year--it just stops working.

if you need to print biz checks in a hurry this is a great, but long term I think Versacheck instant checks are likely more cost effective. Versacheck wouldn't let me print checks for 2-3 biz days (unless I paid an extra $10. No thanks.) Fortunately, I ordered this as well and had the checks I needed in a pinch. This won't win any awards with your CPA, but it will help you keep things moving.

Beware!! This is advertised to work with QuickBooks and Quicken. 5 years ago this may have been correct. It DOES NOT work with any version after 2012. Spent $400.00 today having all my accounts set up to try printing a check and surprise I get a message that says "The accounting program you are using isn't supported by the currently installed version." It goes on to advise clicking 'Update.' Surprise number 2: there are NO UPDATES.There is even a little sticker in the corner of the box stating "Works With Windows 7,8 and 10" to make it look new. DON'T BE FOOLED.

Was told by customer service my old version of checksoft was not compatible with 2007 version Quickbooks. I wanted checksoft to print account info and customer name etc on check. I proceeded to purchase new version of both programs, Checksoft and Quickbooks pro 2013 for my business. Still would not print info on checks as was told it would. I then contacted customer service and they want me to pay extra per incident to fix this known problem. I returned the program and went with Versa Check.

I had a hard time trying to find a reasonable check software that would be compatible to my computer. Checksoft was easy to install and user friendly.
