Epson T098120 OEM Ink - (98) Artisan 700 710 725 730 800 810 835 837 Claria Hi-Definition High Capacity Black Ink (550 Yield)

This ink is the genuine article. I ordered the high-capacity black in for my particular printer, and it was just as advertised.I've tried to save money by going other routes on my ink. But either the ink hasn't been good quality (runs or blotches or the color was off) or the cartridge didn't last (hardly any ink in the cartridge) or the process was too difficult (pour ink in the cartridge??? no thank you).I'm not printing documents nearly as much as I did a few years ago, so I don't worry as much about the price per page. So I bite the bullet from time to time and pay for ink. Good ink.

These cartridges are the ones from Epson. I have tried refilled cartridges, but they all led to plugged printer nozzles, for which there is no simple solution. I like Epson printers, having had terrible experiences and poor product support with other brands, but resolving a clogged nozzle is not a simple problem for them, nor is there a way to replace a nozzle. But these cartridges are high quality and are priced well on Amazon. However, when you need the high capacity color cartridges, do not be misled by pricing. On Amazon, you get a package of the five colors in high capacity model for about $103 and for about the same on the Epson site. However, you also get another black high capacity cartridge on the Epson site for almost the same price. So you save about $25 dollars by going to the manufacturer.

This black ink is everything I hoped it would be: Ink-like, and black. The package clearly stated that the contents contained a black ink cartridge and they weren't lying! I snapped the cartridge into my printer and voila, black letters painted the paper on command. It's magic!

My only complaint would be that I cannot return empties (at a credit for refilling) as opposed to simply disposing of the empty cartridge - seems a waste of resources. Having used competitors products, I am satisfied with the Epsom product and refill ink cartridges, it seems that the printer and cartridge interface well with little or no inaccuracy in ink levels with little or no wasted ink left in cartridge. Product was promptly delivered from time of order.

I didn't realize this, but perhaps getting OEM (original equipment from the manufacturer) is more important than I had realized. Seems that this cartridge works better, and hopefully will last longer. I hope so, given that you can buy so-called generic replacements for the Epson Artisan 710 for about 1/3 of the price here....I'm happy with it.

I got exactly what I needed and expected.

I have no idea if this was a good value. I ran out of black ink, ordered it on line, installed it and it worked. Mission accomplished!Delivered quickly and did the job!

I use this ink cartridge in my Epson printer, it works great and it is a good buy for the cost.
