Dependable and Adjustable
I use this hardware to mount a shade on my upper veranda. When the wind gets strong, I can easily unhook the shade from the outer mounts and it keeps the shade from buffeting. Hanging it back is quick and easy.

They did the job. Careful to tighten the turnbuckle
This kit comes with everything you need to successfully hang a shade sail with no help. All you need is a ladder, drill, tape measure and level. Since I was going into solid wood, I eschewed the plastic anchors and provided screws - instead opting to use 3 1/2” deck screws. The anchors were able to hold me up, so I know they were secure enough. To the included cotton rope. If you’ve never done this before, I promise, you will never accomplish this alone by simply tying a knot, running it through the bracket and pulling. You’ll need to master the pulley method.Use the rope to tie a knot on the D ring of your shade sail. Then run the other end through the bracket you installed. THEN loop it back through the D ring again. Now, when you pull the rope, it will tighten so easily, you can almost do it with one hand.Make sure the turnbuckle is loosened out almost as wide as it can go. Now, you should have no problem hooking both sides of the turnbuckle between each ring and bracket. Do all 4 before going to the next step.THIS is VERY important. Get a large adjustable wrench that will fit the width of the turnbuckle and tighten down just enough so it won’t slip. Gradually turn the wrench towards you until either you can’t anymore, or the hook bolts are touching. If you use a wrench that’s jaws won’t cover the width, the turnbuckles will bend quite easily, rendering them useless. You have just enough hardware to do 4 corners. Just go easy, and slowly. You should be able to get it tight as a drum if you measured correctly.Time will tell as far as their durability goes. But you get the entire kit for what a single turnbuckle costs at the hardware store.Would buy again in a heartbeat. But would go a lot slower when tightening them up.

This is my second pack that I have bought of these. I used my second pack to hang up, awnings out outside for a party.
