Kotobukiya My Hero Academia: Shoto Todoroki (Version 2) ARTFX J Statue, Multicolor

Love this figure! The finish is shinier than the promo images so the ice doesn't look quite as nice in real life but that's a minor issue. It's tall and hefty, so you do get your money's worth (and will need a bit of shelf space, so check the dimensions). I love the dynamic pose and the way it showcases both of Shoto's powers in an exciting way. The one downside is the finicky assembly. The only thing you have to do is put the flames on his arm but it took me a while to get each piece in and the hold is rather precarious so the previous pieces kept coming undone. And then moving the figure caused them all to fall off again. Still if you don't mind that it's well worth buying especially since the end effect of the fire looks amazing.

I got this when it was on sale so it was a super good value for the money. Everything feels really good quality from the ice base to the fire attachments for the hands.The only flaw I would point out is how finnicky it is to assemble the hand fire piece. It is composed of 3 pieces that you need to assemble Even with the instructions, it was not the most straight forward thing to do. And it falls apart very easily which makes the piece risky to move in order to clean it.

It is a very high quality figure and looks incredible. However, the detachable flame pieces are a nightmare to attach and struggle to stay on. The slightest touch on them will cause them to fall off.

It is a Christmas gift so I haven't opened the box, but the box is in excellent condition. I think my son will love it.

Amazing statue of shoto. Do not recommend this as a first anime statue for someone. I almost gave up on putting the fire together.
