A backpacking must have!
This hammock is simply amazing. We used it on a weekend backpacking trip and I will never not use it! It packs up very small and is super lightweight, just around a pound. It’s easy to assemble - just find your trees or posts and attach the cables. We treated it with a tick repellent and it sustained its integrity. It fits well in the side pocket of a backpack. While it comfortably sits one person, I would not try putting more than one adult’s weight in it. It might be okay for 2 kids but even 1 teenager would be very cozy. Because it is so lightweight I would be cautious of the material tearing if too much weight is put on it. That said, if you are a solo backpacker or just want something to lounge in while camping, this would be perfect for that. Just follow their guidelines when purchasing and be cautious of breaking any rules!Have fun playing outside :)

Works until it doesn't
Mine ripped clean down the middle at 5am while my 180lb friend was asleep in it. Feet side first, he was only wearing socks on that end of the hammock. Didn't reach out for replacement since my buddy ordered a different hammock before I even knew it. The ultralight one is definitely not as strong as the original. Disappointed in the quality, but I guess there price was right.

Perfect for selected uses
I have all kinds of hammocks. I love my Dutchware gear. But I specifically selected this and an 11 ounce poncho tarp as my primary bugout bag shelter and sleeping.Up front impression; very thin and prone to more easily tear and snag. But it really did hold my 210 pounds. I just have to be careful in it. It is comfortable even after a bit of stretch. And the included slings are very tough and useful. For $30 you really can't go wrong IF you are willing to accept the thinner material and take the risk of a tear. If you are a casual day hike user, this might be a great carry item to use as a hammock or a hammock chair. Occasional use in the yard is also useful. As a bugout item it is useful. But if you want to get into hammock camping, there are several better options in the price range, including those more robust offerings by Wise Owl.For more money there are several custom shops offering great hammock experiences. But given the expense, you really should start with a reasonably-priced first hammock and decide if it is for you.

Wow this thing is light
This thing is incredibly light. When I picked it up I said immediately I would be replacing my eno hammock for camping. Then first time I used it I was not as impressed. It is comfortable but it feels like it is going to throw you out with any slight move. It does not wrap around like the eno for sleeping.

Light and soft, but fraying material
Something about hammocks made like this are always weird in that I can never seem to get them to sit evenly. I have tried loosening the knots on the ends and pushing down in the center of the hammock to make it even and I have adjusted the straps to make sure they aren't twisting the hammock in any way. But one side of the hammock always wants to be higher than the other. That's the case with this one, although I admit it is better than my previous hammock of a different brand.I have only had this for a few months and have used it for about three times for just a couple hours each time. I am by no means heavy on my possessions. Because of this, I am surprised to see the fraying in the material of this hammock (see photo). Maybe I just got a bad one, but it seems the material wasn't hemmed correctly to prevent the fraying. I've also noticed little strings coming off of the sides of the hammock, so it's not just on the ends.I like that this hammock is lighter and seems more reasonable a size than a double (which I've found to be very uncomfortable for two people). I like the neutral, conservative color. However, the material could be improved through more careful reinforcement or perhaps a different material altogether.
