It's perfect. Other reviewers complained about how thin it is, but it's a rug, not a mattress. It fits nicely inside our princess tent and it's soft; kind of like a velvety fleece. The overall thickness is about half an inch of cushion that feels like memory foam. Other rugs are paper thin and have that long, shag look which I was trying to avoid. I'm glad I chose this one. Much nicer and the price was great. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

Great rug. Feels like memory foam. Thick enough to make a comfortable place to sit. Fits perfectly in the play tent. Got dirty quickly and I’m afraid to put it into the washer because of other reviews. I was able to vacuum it with no trouble and could spot clean most areas. Wish it came with care instructions.

If you want a rug to just sit and look at then you won't go wrong. But for me ai was looking for an option for the floor of our play yardIt wasn't exactly what I was looking for but it will work "okay" it's not very thick but it is very soft. I'm using it in the bottom of a play yard. It doesn't exactly fit but it is close. If I knew what I know now I wouldn't buy again. But it's not worth the hassle to return.
