Since these were intended to bridge the screw from the insulation I'd have to drill out a good size chunk of the insulation so they land flush. A time waste labour problem and waste of counter sinking the insulation itself. I ended up just using drywall screws on their own.

They hold the insulation really well. Like the cap that covers the screw. About the same price as “penny washers” and no cold bridge as made of plastic. Purchased for ceiling and sloping ceiling but ended up using them on the walls as I liked them so much.I used a couple hundred didn’t have a single one break and I did the screws up with my impact driver!Why builders merchants don’t have these I have no idea, but lucky their next day delivery on Amazon for a very fair price!Will buy again for sure.
