Wall Mounted Clothes Rack - 48" Clothing Garment Rack, Space-Saving Heavy Duty Detachable Iron Clothes Hanger Pole, Multi-Purpose Hanging Rod for Closet Storage

Short version: solid product, it's just threaded pipe. DO NOT trust the included anchors if mounting to drywall.Long version: I looked at many options to give my wife the clothes hanging rack she had always dreamed of and this one seemed to check all the boxes. The first one I recieved was missing a few critical pieces that rendered it useless. I returned that one to Amazon and requested a replacement. The second delivery had everything in the box. I'm torn on how to rate the sturdiness of this product. I'll explain... it is just pieces of pipe threaded together which by itself should hold a TON of clothes or whatever you want to hang on it. It's all about how you mount it to the wall/ceiling/etc. I was skeptical about the drywall anchors and screws they provided with the product from the start but decided to go ahead and give them a try. When I came home from work the next day the whole thing and a handful of clothes were laying in the floor. The crappy anchors they provided had pulled cleanly out of the drywall. And this wasn't due to an immense load on the anchors, we're talking like 6 pieces of clothing hung up after washing. After that, I sourced some much better designed anchors and hung it up with those. No issues so far with the better anchors. My placement of this product was a very particular spot with no wiggle room and did not line up with any studs. If you got lucky and could mount this with 2 inch wood screws through each of the three mounting plates, I have no doubt it would hold a lot of weight and be rock solid.

We used this in our closet. The clothes were too heavy and it pulled the entire thing off the wall. Once we nailed it too a board and then the board multiple times into the wall the weight from the clothes no longer mattered.

The shelf looks great and is very sturdy but when I installed the drywall anchors and screw, they never caught/grabbed - just slid right out of the hole. I had to buy different, more sturdy drywall anchors.

Now thiw might just be my plaster walls and abundance of clothes, but with the cheap worthless wall anchors the shelf comes with, half the screws ripped clean out of the anchors and half the anchors ripped out of the wall. I bought some decent wall toggles and the shelf held up after that.If you're gonna put real weight on it, get better anchors/toggles.The shelf itself is pretty nice though.

The media could not be loaded.  So sturdy! We packed clothes on these. We have had them for months now with no issues. I will purchase another set and other sizes!

Great price and item. Definitely serves its purpose.

Looks nice. Clothes lasted maybe 10 minutes hung up and when it fell bars snapped so I can't even just replace the screws. Don't recommend unless it's too hang like four items as shown in product pictures

I built a closet where I could not drill into the walls because of waterproofing. I got this so I could hang from the ceiling and it works great!
