Sturdy and paintable

Excellent project for kids
Purchased 2 of these kits for my granddaughters and they absolutely loved painting these. It was a fun rainy day craft and there was enough paint for their creative juices. Since they planned to hang these outside we did take an additional step and added a weather proof clear coat (not included with kit). The bird houses seem to be well crafted and sturdy enough; we'll have to see how well they hold up. My granddaughters were delighted that within a few days of hanging these outside birds discovered them and now call them home. This is a really nice birdhouse project for kids.
