My dogs loves this and results were great. Packaging full recyclable

I have 9 8 week old puppies (they were 6 weeks old when I purchased the product). Had some issues and they all got really soft stools. Even with doctor prescribed medication, after a week there was minimal improvement. Between that and the heat I was really concerned with dehydration. Because the product doesn't provide a minimum age limit I was reluctant to give it to them. I put 1 teaspoon in their raw food (1 for all, not for each). The next day their stools were completely firm. Very happy with the product

Loose powder in a cardboard tube type packaging. Not only should it be in more suitable packaging for freshness, it’s grossly underweight, I suspect the packaging is about 40g if the lid alone is 13g. It weighs 224g including the packaging so about 185g of product not 250g. I only weighed it because it’s less than half full, which didn’t seem right. I won’t be buying this again. I usually like the Herbal Dog Co products, but they really need to look into this packaging. Not sufficient at all, powder all over outer packaging too.

In addition to putting them on a very high grade diet when they come in, we like to help them along with this supplement and I can safely say it has made thing significantly easier. You can notice a difference in the dogs within 1-2 weeks! The ingredients are of a high grade and 100% natural which puts me at ease given them to my dog. Naturally they have also been cleared by our vet, which is a further comfort and for me entirely justifies the price tag.As for the flavour I can't really speak however seems to be going down well across the board and I am yet to meet a foster dog who turns up their nose whenever we sprinkle this over their dinner.I particularly like the fact that this comes in a powder form, which overall just cuts out a lot of hassle when it comes to administering any supplements or medication.The only downside for me is the price, at nearly £20 at the point of purchase it feels like it is quite steep though I suppose that will depend on if you are going to be using this consistently or as a spot treatment.

Quick delivery, great product

I was very excited to try this as my 3 dogs occasionally have stomach issues and I love the ingredients of psyllium husk, flax seed, star anise, ginger root, valerian root, pre and probiotics plus enzymes.I like that the product is eco-friendly. It has a long expiry date. For the price of £20, I was worried that it may be expensive but it depends on how long it lasts my 3 Shih Tzus.I gave them their first dose today and usually my dogs can be fussy at dinner time. They are on a BARF diet. Usually not all 3 will eat as one out of the 3 dogs usually is not hungry but tonight all 3 of them were very keen to eat their dinner and they are it all! Awesome!I like the ingredients which is something I would have chosen myself. It is obviously early days yet to see how my dogs fare on this. If it continues to fare well, and it lasts a while, I will definitely be buying more! 🐾🐕🌈

The pack wasn't full when l opened it, so obviously the contents must settle a bit....My staffie is 8 years old now, and sometimes does have a bit of a 'funny tummy'The ingredients see all natural, infact it looks exactly like the flax seed and linseed mix l put on my salads!She is a bit fussy with her food so l tend to sprinkle it on when she has started eating, as l have more chance of her finishing her food than putting it on at the beginning and her not touching it.....So far so good, and l will certainly purchase more if l see an improvement in her stools.

At the time of this review this dog gut health powder is £17.99 for 250ml. The picture shows it in a clear bottle with a screw lid, but it actually arrives in a cardboard cylindrical box, when you take the lid off the powder sucks up and blows everywhere. I lost about 1/4 onto the floor and surrounding areas. I at least expected it to be in a clear bag inside. The powder itself works well on my elderly chihuahua. She has tummy issues so often gets sloppy bowel movements unless on a supplement and this has worked well for her and hasn’t put her off her food which is good. Overall good for the price but they need to change how tha product is packaged.
