Don’t waste your money
Completely useless, has not worked at all! Puppy just licks it off as fast as you can spray it

Brilliant
So far so good! This was the first anti-chew spray we’ve ever tried. Our five month old pup is into the chew everything phase right now. Since using this spray it has kept him away from the wooden staircase that he liked to chew. Happy pet parents right here!

This does not work
I bought this primarily as a deterrent for my 3 mth old puppy who likes to eat her poop. I spayed it copiously and it didn't stop her at all, then she decides to bite the tassels from my sofa m so I liberally spayed the remaining tassels with the product and hey ho, the floors is covered with the remaining tassels. So disappointed and annoyed. It is not a cheap product. Please don't waste your money on this. Use Vinegar instead.

It works, but possible safety concerns
This product contains a potent chemical , which is considered a likely carcinogen DMDM Hydrantoin. However it is use in very small amounts in cosmetics such as hair dye as well as in hand soaps as an antimicrobial. It is dangerous if inhaled , so make sure the pup is not nearby when you spray it . After spraying, it leaves a smell which is unpleasant to puppies and I understand a bad taste, though my pup looks at this as if there is no way he considered tasting that stuff. We bought it for a Staffordshire bull terrier puppy. He is always supervised but we have worried that he will damage something , or himself before we can jump up to stop him. His latest thing is hard files around the fire place and metal. As well as one cord we can't completely get out of reach.Used properly this should be safe enough. It should be sprayed well away from pets and in limited amounts.Unfortunately, the warnings keep out of reach of children and for external use only are quite small, and perhaps difficult for some to understand.I was horrified to read someone sprays this directly in the mouth of a puppy as punishment. Yes it works but so would beating or electric shocks. At what cost has it worked? True the pup seems to have survived, for now. It may very well have vision damage, or did from cancer later. So I am deducting one star because I do feel the manufacturer needs to make warnings larger and clearer. It's a bit like like putting "Do not eat" on rate poison , you would hope no one would do such a thing anyway, but it seems there is always one. And the product really doesn't make clear that just spraying it near a pup could be bad, or that too much exposure could be bad.

Great product to deal with a mouthy puppy.
I have a four month old puppy that loves exploring the world with his mouth...unfortunately part of the world he’s exploring is all the furniture in my apartment...along with any extremity he can sink his teeth into. This bitrex spray has been a god send. One spray on any surface and little doggo won’t go near it.I would highly recommend this product to anyone dealing with a mouthy puppy. Couldn’t be happier with the results.

Doesn’t work!
Our 12 week old puppy doesn’t stop chewing and biting everything she can get her mouth on and after exhausting every option we decided to try this spray after reading amazing reviews and as you can see… she ended up chewing the bottle! It did not work on our pup at all and if anything she enjoyed the taste 🤨 a tad disappointed.
